Indian phishing scam
I just got my new desktop today and I get a phone call. An Indian man is on the other side of the phone and says hes a microsoft representative and says I need to protect my computer from malware. I read about these companies but didn't know they were still active.
I ended up talking to him for about 30 minutes about how his day was going, and then told him that my Uncle is the Zodiac Killer and that he was going to get slaughtered.
Have you guys ever gotten a call or email from these -bleeps-?..
I don't pick up random calls, and especially don't pick up if we're not expecting a call.
And then we block calls that we know are junk. And we've got a service that includes auto blocking junk calls.
We've had some bad experiences with threat calls.
ot: its only bad when you get a new laptop and find him on the other side of the line from behind the laptop! aka in your house lol! thats what i call a dedicated indian man. dedicated and perserverant like the indian he is. its true theyre so perserverant, sometimes i sit on a bus and an indian girl sits next to me and she just continues sitting there even though new seats open up, im not kidding.
i can almost hear her reciting her marriage vows when she's feeling likely to be led by temptation

Haha.
Pick up and troll em hard.
Yeah.
My brother picked up the phone and chatted for awhile.
Then I got mad and said that I was going to call the cops if they called again.
Lol whenever I get these calls I first start off by saying: "Hello" and then when they start saying the next sentence (blah, blah, blah)....my answer is ------ *hangs up*
Yea they were trying to get me to load a Green Dot card for them under the pretenses that I was fixing the communication system between my store and them. I knew what it was from the start and played around till I got bored, my friend however wasnt so lucky and ended up losing his store $2000 and it cost him his job
