Goku vs Superman
I'm usually not the guy to make these kind of threads, but might as well...
The fight happened....and the results were...slightly __controversial__ to say the least.
Superman won by an overwhelmingly large margin, even with the latest transformation in the DBZ universe, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan.
What did you guys think about it?
I personally thought it was too obvious that Superman was going to win. It was a battle of A Man Without Limits and A Man Who Struggles to Surpass His Limits.

i went to the DBZ panel in AX and the dub voice actor for goku (sean schemmel) said that goku as of today with his super saiyan god mode will probably win in the fight. he said that while wearing this shirt:

I don't get how Superman became so powerful in the comics, because wasn't he just a normal alien on his home planet? Wasn't he only special on Earth because of gravity?
But I thought Goku was like almost a God...
Oh well, I guess I haven't read or watched enough about either of them.
Superman will win of course. His laser eye can burn goku into the ground. Not to mention he is made of steel. What is goku made of? Flesh heap of apes. Worthless! Lets not forget that Superman can fly without training himself to. He is a natural born flyer! And last but not least, Superman has superhuman strength. He can lift heavy things and put up a huge punch.
What does Goku have? He has a flying cloud and a tail. Plus some martial art skills said through training that it can produce a light source of energy call the kamehamehame wave. What a waste of effort. If Superman took that training then he would obviously surpass Goku anyday with little to no effort.

Superman may be physically "perfect", but at least he screws up here and there, specially when women are involved.
No doubt, Silver Age Superman trumps SS God Goku. I guess the easiest way to compare the two is to say that Goku is more of a planet-buster while there are canon issues of Superman in which he's destroyed [url=http://i.imgur.com/3zd79bO.jpg]planetary systems[/url] with minimal effort. The thing is, the DC universe has been around for so long that there are a large number of characters that eclipse Goku, Galactus and the Silver Surfer, for instance.
Most of the time I hear the debate between Goku and Superman, it's usually between people who are familiar with one of the universes and not really familiar with the other. I sort of recommend reading some of the SA DC and Marvel comics as well as watching DBZ for a more rounded perspective. /endgeekrant

honestly i dont get the fight, Superman has a million versions and Goku only has 1 or 2(GT)
i like DBZ and i think Superman is overrated but i mean hes superman, maybe he wasnt meant to be at first but nowadays if writers want to, Superman can be OP, i mean srsly, if superman was a car he'd be a car that can go the speed of light and have unlimited fuel, so i dont see why Goku or anyone for that matter could/would fight him
