To all you Kill la Kill watchers

Doesn't the opening riff of the OP sound like a song from another anime? For some reason every time it comes on I get the feeling that I've heard it somewhere else. If you guys know what it sounds like please let me know/link because its really killing me ;-(

She did songs for Gundam AGE, Fate/Zero, Sword Art Online, and currently Kill La Kill, she's also going to do the opening for the Sword Art Online: Extra Edition. It's most likely her singing style that seems familiar, and not the actual song itself, as it's no being used for any other anime than Kill La Kill.

It's like how Soul Eater's first intro was written by Unison Square Garden, who also did the first intro for Tiger & Bunny.
my guess would be gurren lagann. both do have similar riffs imo.
trigger has employees that originate from gainax, so it's to be expected for this particular anime.

and now for something truly unrelated:
DON'T LOSE YOUR WAY
