Most pressing issues of MapleStory?

Let's do one of these, to identify which (specific) issues the MapleStory community thinks are the most pressing, and should deserve the most attention to resolve. Perhaps this will help Nexon to aid us better in their ongoing attempt to improve the game. Feel free to bring up any game-related issue, such as: ToS violation, bugs, technical issues, hacking, content changes or updates.

List your TOP 5 of the most pressing issues! If you can't come up with 5, that's okay. As long as you're still participating

-Make this game less P2W
-Deal with the botters (Elite boss botters)
-Provide MORE interesting events then the same old same old.
-Populations at other worlds are insanely low. (World merges needed)

- Things like monster life and star planet would have worked better as events. People lost interest in those places after the novelty wore off, and now they're totally dead.
- Bring back party-play maps.

1. I think this is unanimously the p2w aspect. You could get 6,800 rewards points after hours and hours of star planet / bossing for 4 cubes a month, or you could work at a minimum wage job for 1 hour and get 7.5 red cubes. We all know how much Nexon cares about this subject, though.

2. The extent of RNG. Go kill bosses for a chance at getting loot to: buy scrolls (enhancements, potential, standard, etc.) for a chance to increase your range or cube (potential / bonus potential) for a chance to increase your range. If you do ever reach a 2m-2m range, you now still have to rely on RNG for critting, what numbers you'll hit, final attack, and what drops you'll get.

3. The repetition. Everyday, I just go kill the same bosses and do the same events. There's no reward in grinding at level 207. I can spend hours at SDH to gain a level and get +5 str, or I could take the p2w route and get 7.5 cubes in 1 hour, because I was so academically elite that I could land a part-time job at Subway.

4. This makes #3 really bad - the range gap between soloing Hard Gollux / Normal Magnus and Empress / Hard Magnus. I started soloing Hard Gollux and Normal Magnus at around a 300k Zero range with ease, but then I have to gain 800k more range before I'm able to take down a more difficult boss? Everyday I'll get 1 advanced Gollux scroll that I can use to HOPEFULLY gain +4 WA/MA and +3 all stats. How the hell am I supposed to gain 800k range like that?

5. The lack of reward for being skilled. Having a high range (which most commonly comes from USD) and luck is all that matter when it comes to being rewarded.

servers are too empty and needa be merged
cubes cost nx.... need to be buyable for mesos
all the content they make gets ruined later. ex = nlc, twilight perion and more...
need more content not new classes or revamps
clear out old characters and guilds so we can get names... so many names are taken

just 5 random i thought of off the top of my head

More options to gain exp than just Drill Hall for higher-leveled players.
One in-game issue I noticed is that my Beast Tamer while in Cat Mode causes incredible lag, pretty much making it unplayable.

As for the majority of issues brought up here, I can say that most of them are rooted in the atrocious community we've devolved into. Whiny, selfish, unreasonable punks who parrot other people's insults in order to sound cool. A community who will break every rule they want in order to get ahead, then come into the forums kicking and screaming when they get caught. People who won't say one good thing about the game or it's company, but for some stupid reason, don't just up, quit and never look back... and those who do quit playing still come here with some BS self-righteous "I quit, so you should too." tyrades.

You want to blame someone for the game being "ruined"? Look in the mirror.
did you bother reading the other comments in this thread? you can't blame the players for something that is clearly nexon's fault

Many things, but most have already been mentioned. So one is Bello's economy. RA armors are practically dirt, and fafnirs halve in price like every week. Tyrant capes also pretty much aren't even worth the psok anymore. It's so hard to make money LOL

they need to address the memory leaks in the client, if they did it would definately speed up the performance of the game
I think the problem is more of a spawn issue, but I completely agree.
It's a mix of both at some places. The main problem for this was how several maps had a similar spawn rate and the same lvl for instance jesters or aliens were dishing out 1-3k exp (i don't remember the exact amount) and monsters at other maps were giving out 300-600 exp at best. I just hate how we have so many maps some areas with either a decent spawn rate, good bgm/scenery is getting severely overlooked and underappreciated just because the exp is so bad.

The exp gain at maps needs to be balanced, we have hundreds of maps and areas yet most players only train at 3 places.

I agree with the two above, but I feel like just starting out on brand new characters with a few friends immediately solves this.
For example I made only resistance characters with 5 friends in Zania (?) one time and it was awesome ^^
You could even make challenges, like who can finish the intro levels first.
The entire Social aspect of the game has been completely shafted for an "Upgrade your character until you can solo Every boss" model. Completely stupid imo.
This. We need more PARTY PLAY maps. Especially bosses. Nowadays, people think the goal of the game is to be able to solo every boss. If you want to party with someone that is capable of killing a boss, they'll try to charge you...

1. Lack of endgame content
2. Abundant hackers
3. Cubing is seriously screwed up. You can spend $1000 on it and come out with something worse than what you started with
4. Need more relevant areas. There's only 1 or 2 places that people go to at any given level
5. Lack of variety and lack of decent rewards in questing

- Lack of new interesting content (New bosses, jobs, areas, party quests, new job advancements)

Any new content would be nice, I've more or less done it all and it gets a bit repetitive. 5th job would be amazing right now, but all we get are annoying unrewarding events, and they're all the same, kill 300 of monsters around levels, repeat.

Other than this I'm pretty happy, game runs surprisingly smooth for me o.o

Random DC's. And once I got banned for being afk while downloading torrents (probably lag), yet, botters in Leafre and ToT remain untouched.
