Why does everyone find Shade boring?

I haven't made one myself, but I don't understand why shade is boring? They look fun, their mobbing and damage is good and apparently they a great bossers. What is so bad about them?
I would say its because your mobbing skill is virtually the same thing from 1st to 4th job. Its a spirit that punches multiple times, and it just gets a new color/animation every job advancement, but still works quite similarly. However, my shade is personally my favorite character. This is also because I really appreciated the storyline, and it made me want to each and every story quest that came up. Something I cannot say for any other character. Also spirit claw is really good and you are right, they are great bossers. But if I were to guess why people get bored its because of the mobbing skills Spirit punch, bomb punch, ect. I do hate mashing them over and over just to get all the punches to land, but thankfully they are updating it in the future where if you hit the skill once, it will do all the punches for you unless you cancel it.

Anyway, if you are a mapler who blows through the storyline without reading anything just to train, you probably will be disappointed as shade has no active buffs besides MW, and you basically have the same skill from 1st to 4th job but in 4th you also get spirit claw.
Oh btw in a kms patch, you'll do three punches per one time you hit the skill... Finally nexon is smart for pnce
I guess the main reason I got bored of Shade so quickly was that i sort of power leveled it to 190 within a month. I got bored and went back to my DA. But honestly Shade is a solid class. Once that revamp hits i'll probably hop back on it for a bit.
I've been playing my Shade a lot lately and I'm just fine with him.
Haven't felt bored with him even once during that time.

There are many reasons why some classes are boring and no one like them...

DA = Exceed system, the moment you use another kill that uses exceed, it restarts the whole crap(this sucks for people who actually uses all the skills to the fullest but with this system, it is impossible)... You know how boring that is? That is pretty much telling us to spam one boring attack through out our whole lives (assuming you main DA)

Mihile = Came out right after DS and if you look at all the skills, there is NOTHING special about it... It just has all the "good/useful" skills from all the warriors of that time and if you look at the attack, it is nothing special.... Pretty much another "hold-down" character Nexon Created... But then again that applies for a lot of the warrior.

There are a lot more but don;t wana complain about everything...
the good classes I actually believe Nexon made a good "concept" for are :

WH: being the 1st of their kind moving and attacking at the same time (but now they have Moving Hurricane and Moving Merc.... I mean seriously... that just kills this class)
Mech / "original" Corsair : They are the "slower" version of WH but they hit much harder and relys them to be in their "battle" form to fight for best damage output. But Corsairs sadly are not as cool as they use to be... Now they rely more on their RF...
DB/hayato : Both are very fast and links from one skill to another.
DS = Their force system and i believe the very 1st class who doesnt use MP And all their attacks are very nice but hate it when people just spams and thinks they are strong...

There are more but the classes listed above really deserve to be the "fun" classes but sadly no one looks at them other then DB... And the "old" corsair that we can't access anymore.

Edit: I forgot to mention Beast Tamer.... IMO, it deserves a complete revamp... They need to make the Cat and Bird a lot more useful other than support... The Bear is all people use and it kinda loses its purpose of all the other animals... I, at 1st was like "BT looks awesome, now no one can copy my "playing style" but after looking at all the attacks, it is utter crap.... Nothing special and people just goes pick the Bear path then adds to the Cat path for training...

Training on my Shade I find super boring, but the bossing is pretty fun. Especially in Vellum, where I get to utilise a lot more skills. The fish skill, soul split, back step & front step become super helpful, invincibility hyper in case I'm in a tough spot. Really a matter of opinion. There are good and bad points to every class

I like any class that is fast, but Shade is too slow in my opinion.

Having two main attack skill is like the standard for a lot of classes.

I really enjoy Shade. Out of every class I've played, it's the only one that I haven't grown tired of (yet). I found its story good, and I liked the fact that there weren't many buffs.
I found that it was really easy to play as, it's quite tanky (there's a hold down skill that's either second or third job that's great for restoring HP), its mobility is quite good, and its bulky, to boot.
But then again, I have a set criteria that generally determines if I end up liking a class or not, and it just so happened that Shade filled that criteria perfectly.

I am finding Eunwol pretty fun to play, the skills are so pretty and unique compared to other classes. I would have mained it if I hadn't loved my Demon so much.

I found it really boring because I rushed through the storyline and broke my hand trying to get to level 150 for the ring
Not everyone. It's subjective. I found them pretty fun, but doesn't make me want to stop maining a DB.
i felt the exact same way with my Aran.
The term "fun" tho is strictly relative to the person playing tho. Some play cause they like the class, other play for damage.
