Vayne is a better late game. Vayne will crush Caitlyn. She is a hyper carry just like Tristiana. Just get farmed up and don't get poked out if you have Vayne. Caitlyn is one the the easiest ADC's though. You can add me on League. My name is, Deltoids.

both ADC's can carry the game. Vayne is more difficult to play though because your positioning can make or break you. Cait on the other hand is what i like to call a "safe pick" because you can get away from alot of bad situations due to her E, she has good poke as well. So if you want someone who's easy to learn i say buy cait. But if you think you've played ADC long enough and know how to position yourself, go for vayne

Mercedes is pretty decent if you can fund. It may be out of the meta but you could always try using Luminous or a Wild Hunter

Vayne and cait are both top tier adc. Caitlyn can just sit back and relax, farms n poke constantly. Has some sort of cc and pretty long range ult that does alot of dmg.
Vayne is strong hole game, but especially in late game. Tanks means nothing against vayne, and with good mechanics it's almost impossible to lose.

If I were to give you advice on who to get I'd say vayne, but it's biased, I main Vayne.

OT: Caitlyn is more of a solid pick and all around better champ in both SQ and 5's

I would say Cait is easier to play and can be a better matchup against shorter ranged ADC's.

Caitlyn is by far the easiest ADC but not exactly versatile. Don't think about theoretical situations when deciding on a new champion, it's very unlikely you'll achieve a full-build Vayne most games; or have the mechanics to reliably duel everybody into oblivion like she is capable of.

Honestly it's hard to go wrong with Caitlyn, go for her first since she's less punishing and works well in both 5s or soloq.
