Phantom Stolen Skills

A few of my buddies have been asking me about what skills I had stolen and for what reason. So instead of answering them all individually; I thought: "They have Basil accounts, I will just refer them here!" [b]NOTE: These are attuned to my personal play style[/b]

First Job - None (Why: None that I wanted to fit my play style.)

Second - Power Guard (Why: Even though I have a high avoid chance, I will still get hit. So when I do I would like to absorb half that damage instead of taking the full blow)

Third - Holy Symbol (Why: More experience means quicker leveling. Which also means I am commonly able to get into parties that need me. <3)

Fourth - Dispel (Why: I am commonly found facing enemies that use abnormal statuses and being able to dispel them all off of everyone in my party helps those who do not have all-cures on hand all the time. Also, since Dispel maxes at Level 10 I can keep Impeccable at Level 10 and raise it at the very last of my journey)

I am also curious as to what everyone else has taken and why? Always nice to hear comments from other fellow Phantoms.

2nd job: hyper body/meso guard/rage/threaten(don't know why i have this still)
3rd job: holy symbol/combat orders/door
4th job: Advance bless/smoke atm, usually have SE

I never have mana issues with a 15%/10sec MP familiar

F/P Paralyze makes me jelly, it's so fun to use

1. Haste (most of the time)/ Magic Guard (for HoH mobs, hard bosses)
2. Dark Clarity (awesome design), Rage (for party buffs), Hyper Body (also pt buffs), Heal (for healing or ksing at nlc if ma friends in help, though i'll prob switch this one out for bless)
3. Combo Atk (dmg), HS (exp), Magic Crash (bossing)
4. Sharp Eyes (all around buff, good for carte noir, tempest and miles) , Eight legs easton (good dmg for mobbing) /Dark harmony (pt when i dont need AB or SE to buff)

@MsDit there are 2 skill in the begginer tab you don't really steal the skill only copy it

Skill Swipe:this is used to steal the skill only explorer type
Loadout: this one is to choose wich skill are you going to use

why ppl keep going on haste D: is useless

1-. ironbody/magic armor/dark sight/magic guard<- this +hb + jr boogie let you last long
2.- rage/hb/power guard/heal<-this became useful on time
3.-HS/combo/magic crash
4.-SE/adv bless<- if you manage to get a S rank inner 20-30% crit forget about SE

most used set ironbody/rage/HS/adv bless or heal

1st magic guard: although it does drain mp rather quickly it helps when you're seduced or don't pay much attention at maps with hard hitting monsters
2nd rage. : everyone loves a weapon attack boost no? now stacks with all buffs and potions so it's better than karma and clarity.
3rd combo, hs , mystic door: depending on the situation I'd like more experience others more damage then I have those times my mates aretoo lazy toget places
4th darkharmony and res : I prefer the attackboost seeing as my training partner is a marksmen, res is there for any eventuality

I hope you guys know that Haste is practically useless since every class has mobility now.

I like the responses. Will also help those of which who are starting a new Phantom and need to know what skills are commonly being used and what reasons.

Haste would be helpful for party situations, true. But, given with all the classes that have been released just about everyone starts or at some point in their job will obtain max speed and jump or at least very close to it. Considering Phantom already has this, it was not a need for me.

I - Iron Body or Haste

For the most of it, the first job skills aren't entirely useful and I have never found a practical use for any of them past 1st job. There are a couple of attacking skills such as Lucky Seven that proved to be useful at this point but not entirely afterwards.

II - Dark Clarity / Karma / Rage

The additional attack is certainly welcomed.

III - Holy Symbol / Combo Attack

This entirely depends on the situation I am in. If need be, I'll switch to Holy Symbol for the experience boost. If there is someone else in the party that can provide Holy Symbol, I will definitely go for Combo Attack for the damage boost. Before the change to the skill steal system was implemented, I did use mystic door for the added convenience. Even now, the cool-down doesn't really pose as a problem.

IV - Rapid Fire / Sharp Eye

Rapid Fire was good initially (i.e. pre-change) and I haven't really played my Phantom post-change because I'm a bit of a class jumper so it mainly serves its purpose as a link skill mule. Sharp Eye for the critical chance band minimum critical damage boost is useful. I suppose any other attack buff would be helpful.

1. iron body or the magic form of it, MG (mose useful in the earlier levels)
2. Power guard, hyper body, Karma (being greedy ohohoho)
3. HS, Combo, Dispel/Door/w/e I feel like
4. Rapid Fire and SE prenerf, only SE stolen postnerf.
