Do you play chess?

I never really played as a kid. Learned the rules at age 7 or 8 and I only played during rainy days for PE. Trying to get back into it now though.

Can't really say which one is easier or more fun, but Chinese chess is widely played in a lot of asian countries. I think there's something called a river, which is a horizontal line in the middle of the board that your elephant piece can't cross, and you have pieces that can jump. Not sure if there's promotion in this game, but I know or sure Shogi has piece promotions.

I remember that another guy cheated to beat him. He used a phone chess app (my friend not knowing this) and put the computer in the hardest difficulty. Then he would plug in my friends' move and copy the computer.

That's...that's actually brilliant. I think I'm going to start playing chess for wagers now at kick backs.

@Matewan Thanks! I don't really like online chess though, because I don't get to do two of the things I like most about chess: talking with my opponent face to face, and physically knocking down their chess pieces.

God tier screen name, Amuro. Also you can play on facebook, chess.com, or lichess.

@AsianBoyRawrz Ah I played that too for a little bit and "Go" too. It was pretty fun and it seemed similar to shogi too.

I learned how to play in grade 8, and in grade 11 I played my friend who learned to play at age 6, and got a 1-0-2 record. I was proud af and he was butthurt for about a half year, before he turned sleazeball and we never spoke again. Whenever I play online I lose, so Im pretty sure it was just idiot beating idiot.
