Rude people on the streets

So during my morning commutes to school I pass by a stop called "Japantown ayer". Today these two black guys in the back saw me and said something like "oooh ^%&% homie this be yo land!". During the rest of the ride they kept shouting out a bunch of Japanese stereotypes and saying things like I was gonna karate chop them. Right when I was abut to get on the bus to go back home a bunch of these high school kids saw me and started shouting at me. I didn't hear what they said but they kept laughing and I know they were just trying to make me feel uncomfortable. Does this ever happen to you guys?

This stuff is too hard to believe, unless you are in the deep south

I hate when people walk slow in front of you, or when you cross a turn lane, and the cars drive closer to you to make you walk faster or even cut you off the light followed by a rush of following cars. Ffff.
Where do you live? In California (I'm Chinese), I never experience any of these things
Then again, Californians are so politically correct it's a wonder they can even say anything at all...
Sh/* like this happens in San Francisco, mainly on buses that go by or take you into the "black" neighborhoods.

@stealthediamond:

OH PLEASE. I'm asian. I've lived around asians. I've known enough asians to say that, yes while not every asian is, a majority of asians fear and dislike black people. One of my Korean friends invited me and another friend to this Korean thanksgiving thing and when they saw my black friend they thought he was gonna make trouble in their shop when we went to purchase some food. A lot of asians are pretty cowardly. Like you don't even have to step up to a person. Just walk with confidence instead of the walk of fear I mean.... jeez .

I don't notice much around here. I got drive-by water-ballooned the other day. It kinda hurt, it was at night right after it rained and I wasn't really looking so it was really weird. But that's just bored kids.
@KonoKazuya: What? I live in Manhattan. Also as i've said from what i've seen you get picked on/mugged/targeted if they see you as one. It's beyond race.

EDIT: @belovable and @konokazuya
I've been over more of new york city than most people would be in their entire lives. I love travelling and i'm an adult who explores the city in her spare time. If you're talking about nonsense highschool garbage then I can understand but it goes beyond highschool. idk why you're making NYC sound like a place where everyone gets screwed over lol. It's a very nice city and yeah, things can happen but it people aren't attacked because they're asian. I'm asian and most of my fights have been because some girl thought I was into her boyfriend or they just didn't like me. Also most of my fights have been with other asians and caucasians. I've really not had much beef with black people. What makes people potentially pick on asians is because most asians, especially hs/middleschoolers are cowards. Same for some of the adults. If your modus operandi is to duck down and hobble along like a peasant then you're gonna get wrecked.
You people are so stereotypical. From the hood, if you let someone disrespect you, IT IS ALL YOUR FAULT. You better go ham, and call them hood rats and act like a crazy mofo.

@Billionz: You're taking it too literally, my friends and I all call each other N*ggas. It has nothing to do with the word. I can be called gay, F*g, b**** and not take offence at all.

It's not about the word, it's all about the context in which the word was being used.

When i was younger i always dealt with stereotypes and criticism towards my homosexuality.
Back then and even now sometimes i would just walk to school or home and people would call me a fhag.
But its gotten to the point where i titled myself the "Gay Lord Fhaggot" and whenever bystanders randomly call me a fhag i just thank them and tell them they should accept themselves too.
Used to happen to me in high school, until I actually karate chopped someone. >.<
Made everyone stop talking.

I was called "Japanese" in high school, even if I was Chinese. Racism was bad where I lived, even in elementary school, but there was a Kung Fu temple which my parents brought me into. It was a blessing I was able to learn from there.

Judging from where you live, I would suggest you not fight them or it'll get very ugly. Honestly, just pretend they don't exist. 1 vs a group isn't exactly the best idea, and not to mention, when I was in high school, they couldn't fight me, but they were able to always bust into my locker/steal my money/steal my things. Just don't fight them, avoid eye contact and ignore their existence.

When they insult you, don't even acknowledge their existence. Don't react or flinch. Psychology lessons show that primitive minds react due to other people's reactions. If you don't have a reaction, two things can happen

1. They will be frustrated and get physical with you.
2. They will be bored and leave you alone.

Most kids will leave you alone and mess with someone else. I hope they mess with the reincarnation of Bruce Lee and get kicked into next week.
You were being called something other than Chinese? Lord it's a miracle!

Well new york... School doesnt tolerate ANY racial or anything like that so I'm fine. I have cheap headphones that cancel out noise very well. it works wonders during commutes.

I'm Asian too and that's never happened to me. When I walk to school, random people (street cleaners, students, hobos, etc) just say good morning or tell me to have a nice day. It always makes my morning
