Are my friends Gold Diggers?
So I got over like, 2,000 dollars to spend for myself on Christmas, and I totally wanted to boast about it, which was a bad idea, because now my phone is blowing up and everyone is texting me about how "Hey, can you go get ____ for me? Thanks<33" And literally everyone is upset that I'm declining just because I wouldn't get them a 50$ (Insert anything here). 50$ is a lot of money, but then they say, "Oh, well u have $2,000 dollars, dont be selfish" and now I feel like all of my friends hate me now. I had big plans for this money and I already knew what I was going to buy, but trying to balance between spending on myself and between my [i]friends[/i] is getting really difficult and stressful for me.
Lesson of the day? Don't brag about how much money you got.

It sounds like you're young, tell them you decided to save up for when you go off to college or something. Honestly, that's not a bad idea in the first place.
