The Wisdom of the Durian

Today, I wish to speak of the Durian. The Durian, as you may or may not know, is the king of the fruits, though this name was not bestowed lightly. Though the outside may repulse those unworthy of its tender succulence, so too does it conceal within its stoic chassis a silent, deciduous charm unmatched by the common fruit of the underbrush.

Elevated is the prestige of the Durian; to those who burrow past its hard, putrid shell awaits the sweet tinge of flavor unbound by the convention of the senses. The light, tart, sweet creaminess overwhelms the aura locked and braced by the taste buds, elevating the very essence of the consumer, who then becomes consumed by the will of the Durian.

Oh, to touch the mere crown of the royal Durian is to be overwhelmed by flavor. Is it so, dear Durian? Must you tantalize us mere mortals with what we cannot comprehend? Or is it a sign? Perhaps it is us that refuse to understand you, dear Durian. Perhaps you wish to convey that to understand your charm is to understand life, love, and the pleasures of this world and the next? Oh, noble Durian. What secrets do you conceal in your soft, sweet texture? Perhaps it is your will that we never know what you conceal betwixt your hard, horned, pungent shell...

And what of you, dear Basilers? What say you of the cursed blessing of the Durian? <3

Hmmm... It seems that though there are potential followers, it is not quite the right time for the golden age of the Durian to proceed. I shed a tear to thee, sweet Durian. Slumber for now, and know that your reckoning is soon to arrive. I shall form, in your tribute, a new organization to resurrect your power and restore your great honor. I shall call it... the Durian Wings! Muwahahaha~ *disappears in a poof in smoke*

The mango? Ha! Humor in its purest form. To follow the mango is to condemn the essence of flavor! Upon such commoners, I feel a shred of forlorn sympathy. Behind the darkened mosaic of multifaceted glass, it laughs at its followers while the shadows of the connoisseur's craft dig into the heart of the Earth from where it was spawned. I spit at thee, mango!

Thank you for pointing this out. It is quite obvious after a subtle observation done most cursororily by the largest idiot that mangoes are in fact the most delicious fruit. This young man clearly has his priorities out of place if he has been deceived by the simplicity of a lowly durian. Does the fool know where he has been mistaken? Or must he be informed?
