Does anyone else feel a lack of Individuality?
Does anyone else feel like MapleStory lacks individuality (excluding the NX Clothes), in that it's a lot harder to look unique and still deal moderately decent damage?
Maybe it's just me, but it feels that having high leveled set equips takes away the joy of being the unique little blooming flower that I am.

Yeah... um... y'know there are MMOs out there that have far less customization options than Maple does, right? Some MMOs you can't even select class gender or face/hair options... there are MMOs out there where you basicly play as a pre-made character that your only customization option is what colour scheme they have... and MAYBE different hair.
With Maple, you can change every aspect of your character's appearance. Each of the main items you equip directly appear on your player. How many MMOs let you change your armour's appearance?
I find a lack of difference between class skills more so than character looks. For example, so many hurricane/shadow partner/flash jump skills.
I've only seen one other person with the Zhuge Liang outfit, and that was years ago, when the outfit was first introduced. I love my radiator hat
I suppose I'm decently unique? I even anviled my ele staff to fit the theme

I'm not saying that there's nobody with any of the same stuff that I have, it's just that there's nobody with the same combinations.
@AckarRed: oh, yeah. for some reason i thought jetts were customizable o.o
regardless, it's a stupid system (but it does make us enjoy the beauty coupon event)
I've never seen anybody with my look before. Closest I've seen is same hair/color and eye patch.
It's only because everyone wants the good hairs and eyes, or rather, everyone gets Bright Eyes and Bed Head hair or Mechanic Hair, etc.
Sadly, I've gotten a few sausage impersonators :c.
I agree, please no one should anvil 6 pieces of clothes to look different, and no one should buy a virtual piece of clothing that expires in 90 days, I still think nx clothes should be perm, that way it would cost like 20k Nx for a look instead of 20k for 3 months (times 4 if you want it for the year) meaning 80k Nx or $80. Please you can get much more value in real clothes then that Bs

More like post Mercedes, that's when they changed Character creation to only have a similar face and hair, then they started to do the same to nearly every other class, and now they're doing it to Cygnus Knights and Explorers, removing every trace of individuality and making all of us look the same.
t's not that hard, in my opinion.

Not really. I usually cover my equips anyways.
