I made my marksman right before RED update, because my boyfriend at the time mained it and I wanted to try it out to see why he liked it so much. I fell in love with the class and continued playing it even after I broke up with him MARKSMAN IS LOVE MARKSMAN IS LIFE
Played to 200 to try a new class and had dex funding anyway. Liked the class a lot, especially mobbing, and snipe made me feel stronk But I didn't like how the distance system caused me to lose out with Magnus.
My friend told me crossbows had like 2 more attack than bows back in prebb days. So I ditched my hunter for a crossbowman. It soon evolved into a marksman, and I gained the ability to use pierce. Then I quit it when snipe became spammable. RIP MARKSMAN
My first character was a Cleric and this was back when Asassins would just KS everything with little effort and EVERYONE KS'd Clerics just because they could. I got tired of being on the receiving end of that and ditched my Cleric for a Spearman. That lasted until level 50. I sold my Godly Maple Spear and other equips and with that I was finally able to afford a pair of 10 attack Work Gloves. I decided to start fresh as a Marksman and with that I found my niche. Right from the beginning I fell in love with the class. I went on to finally hit 4th job after Big Bang was released and I hit level 200 in 2012. I went on to be the #1 Marksman in Bera for a little while, met some amazing people and had a blast. Now I just come on and lurk every now and then, waiting for 5th job. I've been a Marksman since 2006 and I'll never main another class. It's the best. In the words of Bryan: Master Race
I remember when 4th job was about to come out and I would be searching videos for 4th job skills. I was just so hyped for Snipe and Pierce. Also Freezer . Even though I was barely at 3rd job xP
I don't have my own marksman story, but I have a story of what inspired me to make a marksman. I was training at LHC (this was awhile ago) and SniperOfLove came and somehow joined our party and started training for us. He was a level 200 marksman, and it was also double exp at the time. I leveled like 5 times, and he was hitting max on attacks. Since then I was inspired to make a marksman, and it took forever to get to 4th job with it.

One time I was reported for flying around the map when I was using hookshot, flash jump, and piercing arrow.

got 5 marksmen past 100. I was addicted to MM.
Got Hacked. Made a new account. Made a marksman. Everyone famed me because I was cool.
Like I started my Marksman adventures not long ago
Surprised nobody said Gold Hawk > Silver Hawk.
I just used snipe then all of sudden women ^^^_^_^^
Logged on > Held down snipe key > Made bank > Logged off
