Nexon hasn't released the patch notes as they'll be testing some stuff during this maintenance and if some things just don't work out (like Sengoku high), then they won't be releasing them and it saves them face from editing the patch notes that have already released.
@bubblecup118: Eh I wasn't around when that was happening and I normally go do other stuff while the game patches since patching updates like this can take up to a half an hour so I don't think that would work anymore. It's really just the players responsibility to check out the site or even click on the little notice thing inside the patcher to take you to the notes. This is probably the first thing that is 100% the players fault and Nexon cannot be blamed for at all.

A long time ago in Maple, when you were patching, the update notes is shown in the patcher. That thing should return. Encourage them to read it while waiting for the patch to be completed

I read the patch notes, so I am informed and know what to expect. If I see threads that ask questions that are answered in the notes, I will just link them to the notes.
Also I see people QQing when an event ends and say "omg I didn't know this event existed", why didn't anyone tell me.
Of course I don't expect them to read everything but at least look at the sub heading and see what is coming. The amount it takes for that is much lower than posting an useless thread and waiting a while for an answer.

Especially for the RED tickets/shop since there's things like cubes in the shop and I wanna know if they placed a limit or not. But stupid me decided to use a month long lock on my badge so I'll have to wait to pot and cube it.
I always read the notes whenever a new update comes out. To be fair by the way this is a PRETTY big update, especially since they have to note all the job changes for around 14 adventurers (with 4 jobs per adventurer) =P
All the events, and all the profession changes, and other things of that nature.
@aeswag I agree. I always check the patch notes so I can know what's coming in the patch. But many basilers seem to have a problem with reading anything longer than a few sentences, so that's probably what it is. I'm especially anxious to see the patch notes for RED. I want to know exactly what's in store for us <3

Gives you something to read while you're patching. They'll give them to us after the patch is released.
IE11 isn't that bad of a browser.
