I think braces are cute. Too bad i can't get em, my teeth are already perfectly aligned.

@LostMyJob yup. my teeth got crooked a lot from my wisdom teeth that were growing slanted. they got taken off a while ago.

Braces are alright, the first week hurt a little but was only sore.
I can't tell you if it's going to hurt or not because everyone is different. For me, getting my braces adjusted did not hurt at ALL.
And since im a good citizen I didn't break or damage my braces I ate everything that I normally ate.

On the first week you'll need a lot of soft foods, cooked spinach, congee, porridge, mashed potatoes; don't even bother with bread because you can't even chew.
they arent that bad, and in the end your teeth will be better than everyone elses lol @nindow

I'm a professional hitman, but some people can't shoot a target to save their life. Not everyone is born the same

so thats how its going to be like. thanks to everyone who took their time to answer my questions. looks like i'll have to endure my braces for the time i'll be having them on my teeth.

I had to wear mine at all times, and yes for that same duration.

The first few days after getting them will hurt, so be sure to take some pain medications. I suggest not eating any hard food during the first week. It will start to get better the next few weeks, and the pain you experienced in the first week will come back when you go back to tighten/change your wires. Also , if they make you wear the rubber bands, be sure to carry a pack (they should give you a small pack of rubber bands) in your pocket/wallet/bag when you leave the house in case you need to replace them, as it is essential that the rubber bands are worn at all times.

I have to floss after every meal because food gets stuck on my teeth because braces suck.
I can't eat what I want because it's too painful to chew after getting them tightened.
I hate wearing elastics because I just hate them.
But it's worth it in the end, so I have to endure.
