Total amount of money spent on maple?

I quit around a year ago, but today I was just wondering how much I spent, so I went back to review purchases... it turned out to be around about ~6285 USD... shocking. It's scary how much money you could spent on a game over the course of 7 years.... but of course, a lot of them was bought with mesos
Has any basilers ever counted how much money they've spent?
Seems like a lot of people has spent a considerable amount of money on Maple. I grew up playing Maplestory; started playing a beta, but after qutting, I realized how much I regret spending so much money on this game... given the facts that I'm only a high school student, where I can use those 6.2 grand on like prom or food T_T

Whats more impressive for the majority of us isn't the money put towards the game...but the time and energy put towards it. I've worked so hard on my characters, running the guilds I made, organizing boss runs...especially way back when you needed to collaborate with 10+ people in synergy to do it right. Many of us have seriously worked so hard towards what we have and maintaining our reputation and friendships.
Learning to work around not just 10-20-30 people isn't just a matter of juggling that many data sets...you have to learn to work with personalities and try to keep drama minimized and still have fun. It's really impressive what people did...imagine if you put all that effort towards school and learning on the side to get ahead.
$1000 in a 2-3 year period.
Started 2008 in Dec, quit in 2011, played Combat Arms for like 2 years, came back to MS in 2013.. $1.3K (About 1K for MS and 300 bucks on CA) in total for Nexon games.. Over the 7 years I guess that's alright compared to other people o.o

Wait, 50k as in 50,000 or a typo as in $50.
I started playing in Taiwan back when it was a beta before it even became global maplestory. Once I moved to the U.S. started playing the global maplestory, I have spend about roughly $15,000. Been working and getting paid. Love it and never gonna look back.
f u guys that say a minimal amount and say "i regret it". i have no regrats over spending my money on this game, it was a chunk of my childhood and it occupied my time. iv been playong on and off for the last 10 years. probably 15k. 10k being in the last 3 years.

I spent about $2k between jr high - freshman high school and my friends would make jokes about it haha.
i quit and came back like 2 years ago, spent around $50k on this game and counting. i have steady income since 4 years ago so its all gravy.
Around 400$-500$, been playing on and off since 2007. Only started spending on NX last year though
$200-$300 played since 2010.
Since July 11th, 2008, up until today, I've spent over $11.5k on NX (either selling to others, buying things for myself, or gifting friends tiny things here and there).
Now, that number would be around $1,400 more had I not..
1; paid for a plane ticket for muh waifu to visit, and
2: put money onto a visa card when on a trip thinking I could just spend a tiny amount of money and the rest on NX when I got home, not realising that you can't buy NX with those.

Also I've never worked a day in my life, I just always saved up my lunch money/birthday/christmas money as a kid to buy NX, and I still save up money for more NX to this day.
About 50$. Been at it since 08. Gotta buy those 1.8k stores XD
$250 tops. Bit embarrassed.
Been back like 6 months or so and probably spent 2k? Maybe a bit less.

lost count after 10,000. Granted I have a full time job and found joy in the game for a long time. Now I don't bother...just not worth it

I tell myself not that much but when I do look it always results in me crying into my cups of tea.
I'd say around $500 TOPS since 07.

Around $200 over the course of... 8-9 years since starting Maplestory, 5 years of serious playing. I'm not as privileged as others.
The biggest I've spent at once was $80 3 years ago.

are you talking about how much I've spent on just Maplestory? then thats around 5000$ in the course of a couple years.. however I did play a lot of other NexonNA games like sudden attack, combat arms, mabinogi to name a few
so probably a bit? no thats a lie.. probably a lot more than 5 grand in total?

I don't have any regrets about the astronomical number I've invested in this game. I grew up with Maple...it's my hobby and one of the few things I really consistently find true joy in.
