Anyone else noticed a decline in hermits?

I miss seeing hermits around. I see lots more CBs and Shads which is kinda lame. I like playing uncommon classes, and if everyone is making a Shad then I think I may just make a hermit.

Then again, this may only be in Broa. Anyone else noticed it in other servers?

@XDezzaxX: You could say it's massive, but it's not like no minimum range and getting L7 and TT to go from a fixed 50% Mastery to working on the new 65% Mastery aren't massive changes either. xD
Personally, I just get dejected when I go on my hermit. It takes about 4hrs to lvl, and 90% of the time that I'm on I'm not sure if I'll even get to stay on for 30mins to do a 2x. :[
what lvl is your hermit? i remember i used to lvl very fast before lvl 110

a new war is approaching just like the old days where it
Hermits vs CB's
This time its DB's vs CB's and its evenly matched were gonna see a great war after BigBang patch i cant wait to participate in this one on my DB
The Rise in dagger scrolls for a 60% will reach its outrageous price 10mil for a 60% dagger atk 60%...

It's not like the SP change really matters to us on GMS though, seeing we've been running around with 50% SP since the beginning (the only change is if you do the Normal Attack of -0 MP Throw 1 Star, 100% damage). xD
Well yes these are all some of the boosts that the NL gets but there are also other stuff that gets worse for them such as the new crit system, which no1 mentions but i think it plays quite a big part in the NL's DPS to other classes.
Old Crit System: only 2 classes have Crit skills, Archers and Sins, for Sins crit is 50% chance of 200% dmg, Quite simple really
New Crit System: ALL classes get Crit from lv 1( maybe its not lv 1 but i think it is)Crit starts with 5% chance and 120%-150%. Sins Crit skill: adds 50% chance so 55% chance and increases min. crit by 15% so 135%-150%. so in the end there doing at least 50% less dmg with ea crit hit so basically their doing 1/4 less dmg from my 2 sec calculations(not sure?)
The only real nerf for Crits to me is the % gain from SE (it goes from about a +45% output boost to only about +28%?). xD

The current Crit. system only adds +100% Formula Base damage (Additive). The new system will add 35-50% of skill damage for Crits (Multiplicative). Now let's see how it applies to the new TT.
Current Crit System:
250% (base) + 100% (Crit) = 350%
New Crit. System:
250% (base) + (avg. Crit. 42.5%*250%) 106.25% = 356.25%

The 6.25% may seem small, but considering our damage ranges are getting a major boost Post-BB (beats the current L7/TT formula), it'll make a large difference over time, even without consideration of the +5% chance to Crit. xD

What this means is that, yeah, we will still rely on Criticals for damage output, but less than we do now. xD

At TS: Why do people quit their job when it becomes more popular -_- I know there are going to be a lot more I/L AM bandwagoners, but I love my I/L and I would NEVER quit it for a reason like that. It's a stupid reason, no offense. Play the class you enjoy, and keep it that way. That's the best thing anyone can ever tell you. The decline is probably because of all the hated DBs out there right now (which I think is a badass class to play).
I don't know why people are jumping on the shad bandwagon. It's obviously not for damage, though, because shads will be 2nd worst dpm after BB.
Probably for shadow partner and flash jump. I'm considering making one, too, but idk yet. And where's your proof with the damage? They're damage is pretty good, but that doesn't concern me. I do like damage, sure, but that's not why I make a class.

Most people believe for some reason that Shadowers will have a DPM in the top 5 after BB.
They look at Assassinate and change their pants at the damage it deals. What they don't realise is the time needed for a full Assassinate...and that Shads were never about damage.

Yeah I've noticed it too, less Hermits, but I don't see many CBs either, just Dualers and more Dualers. After BB everyone will bandwagon the Resistance classes lol...
sins are gonna be nerfed in big bang so alot of people are giving up on them
can't tell if you're joking, trolling, or (worst of all) being serious...
sins don't get nerfed at all... they get buffed like crazy. Their solo damage MASSIVELY increases (a NL's solo dpm goes at least 3 TIMES what it was before...!) and their mobbing becomes absolutely insane. Avenger is THIS close <holds fingers almost touching> from outdamaging L7 on ONE target... and it might help to know that when it was 420%, it actually DID outdamage L7. That's why it was nerfed to 350%.
In summary... They get insanely buffed.

@icetray111: Well I guess you could say the meaning of lvling quickly is opinionated as well xD I prefer to gain at least 0.8 to 1% a minute on 1x which I usually accomplish and helps me lvl once a day if I'm bored xD
DPM =/= damage. DPM is damage per minute which centers around how much you can cram into a possible second. In other words speed...But why are bandwagons on MS started? For damage...why are DBs still so popular? Damage. Shadowers are getting a direct damage increase so more people will flock to our class because they see big numbers (because somehow in their mind big numbers is the equivalent of fun, Go take a math class!) but most will burn out because we build over time and don't have all our power from the get go.

OT: they all went to make DBs
Yea to stay lvling at a decent rate preBB where everyone is grinding their butts off making CBs, they don't realize that in order to maintain a high success rate of lvling up, they will have to pour in MUCH more funds that if they were making a DB right now. I've poured in over 600 mil of funding yet lvling is getting a bit tougher and gallos is gettin slower. The majority will be stuck at gallos for a while and the funded ones move onto himes and later newts at 120. Without the proper funding and equips, CBs take a TON more dedication.

No one will compliment you for being a rare class..! Just do what you like.. playing an uncommon class for the sake of its rarity is worse then bandwagoning.
They're both the same, how is playing an uncommon class worse than playing a common class? The way I see it, different people have different motivations for playing a certain class, and you shouldn't judge them by that fact.

From what i heard NLs are going to be amazing in BB. But either way, Unless you're playing for competition, Stick to whatever you're happy with. it's pointless changing to something you're not going to enjoy as much.

I made a bandit for the sole reason of savage blow: six slash fury. I don't even know why I know those last three words. I think I recall seeing them on the website or something. Anyway, that was like four years ago.

Still my favorite class of all time, as it is.

Sure. In Broa, the popularity's shifted onto DB's. I still see my fair share of NL's much more than Shadower's.

I've been around since 4th came out on GMS, and I don't really remember NLs really being a "main ksing class" compared to other 4th jobbers (like really, in comparison to ulti spamming lol). xD

-Gallos. Ok, if a NL is able to ks other 4th jobbers here, someone is doing something wrong. Hint - it's not the NL.

it is because the pro and wealthy NL/Hermit/Sin players turned to bandits to show off their damage to DB's but then they all noticed What am i doing DB's own. But after BB they will all quit DB and turn back to hermit/cb. Im staying a sin(:

Shhh... We thrive in the dark, so let's keep it that way. With all the attention Shads/DBs are getting, they're practically hugging the giant spotlight for everyone to see. It's definitely better this way for us. xD

Edit: I'm pretty set with my gear, but I'm very happy for lower prices since it'll mean future Assassins will not have to go through the same prices we older generations had to go through (like Ilbis were 40 mil at one point. Adjusted for inflation and stuff, it was like if Ilbis were 100+ mil/set in today's standards). xD

They're jumping on the Dit bandwagon because of the new skills they get after BB (FJ & SP). Also all those DB users that don't make it passed 130, also quit to make Dits because they have daggers to fund it. Its ironic because a lot of Basilers post on DB hate threads talking about how rare shads and thats why they're respected more than DBs. Then go and post about how Shads will KS exact their revenge on DBs after BB. From the looks of it now, Dit population increase while the DB population will decrease. Making the new bandwagoner class full of the same KSers playing DBs. You just got to love the irony.

TS: I really hope the population of Sins/Hermits/NLs continue to decline because that means there will be a deflation on claws and stars. I have a Dit in waiting for BB, but I am happy knowing I can re-equip my NL without spending a ridiculous amount of mesos. So please, let the Sin population decrease!
