Women Wakes in a Hospital with no Arms or Legs

Briefly, a women goes into a hospital to give birth. A beautiful baby boy is born, a moment to cherish forever. Afterwards, the women stayed in the hospital because she was suffering from severe symptoms of a infection. Unfortunately, for her she contracted the flesh eating infection, the doctors were left with no choice but to chop off her limbs in order to save her life.

I actually don't read articles that often, since most stories don't really interest me, but for some reason this article was a very interesting to read that will lead to an emotional response to anyone. I couldn't imagine how her she is living with her life is right no without no arms or legs. It's just not just about no arms or no legs, it has has a social toll that makes one realize that they will always need round to round clock care, can't hold her child, no video games, and the list just go on and on. It's really sad to think about.

"I wanted to die," she said. "I really wanted to die. I couldn't go on living without arms and legs."

This was her mentality when the doctors explained they had to do the unthinkable. Ultimately choose life because she realized she had a reason to live. A child and to marry the love of her life. The point is, as much pain or suffering you are going through, people who care about you will help eaze the pain.

"Oh, I lost all my limbs? Well, might as well sue the hospital for no good reason so I can at least get some money out of it!"

Seriously, what's up with that? Imagine if you were a doctor who had to go through the decision to amputate, and then the patient just turns around and sues you. She doesn't have to lash out against people who are unrelated.
@DrPebble: Exactly what I thought lol! Most lower middle class families do not have 20k at their disposal to throw away on something that health insurance will clearly not cover. Aside from this family that will obviously win the law suit. I really hope she gets over a mill lol.
she settled for 10 million dollars, but apparently that's not enough and actually should have gotten 50 million.

@drpebble didn't read it but I am gonna go ahead and assume it is not readily available to all amputees and far from affordable to the average family.

@liam more like eventually the child will be there to take care of herself. The mother will not be able to do much for the baby. When I read this I legit thought it was horrible. Legit the worst thing that could ever happen to someone imo.

Seeing as you have no arms or legs.....

That would be quite difficult.
