Just a test to see if this is a coincidence or an actual fix
For those currently affected by Magnus going berserk by dropping millions of meteors for none of the reasons listed below.
(currently known trigger for Magnus anti-cheat system, server is lagging, someone inside the map is lagging, Magnus is frozen/desync/lagging)
A particular post in the bug reporting section http://maplestory.nexon.net/community#%2Fshowthread.php%3F1417822-All-sorts-of-problems-with-skills-and-Magnus where the person is affected by Magnus activating his anti-cheat system for no reasons, seem to have fix it by shutting down his computer. (the anti-cheat system might be scanning the memory hosting MapleStory for any corruption)
So here I am wondering if it a coincidence that if the anti-cheat system stopped activating if someone else with a similar problems with Magnus fully shut down their computer.
I personally never experience this problem as my computer is shut off every day, so I cannot test this myself.
(window 8 requires full system shut down, not the normal one)

It happened alongside these glitches to me like a month or two ago, where even though I was inside the blue zone I was still doing 10%. Magnus glitched the second I got to second stage. Restarting my computer a few times fixed it, some people recommend completely reinstalling.

I've had it happen where the game thought I was outside the blue at all times and thus reduced my damage to 10%. If it happens, I usually just restart my comp and it's resolved.
i find magnus glitches when:
-he himself glitches (sometimes after a bind) and is frozen in place. if you attack him while he's frozen then it will proceed to glitch
-he is killed too fast (hp moves down at a considerable rate)
-he wants to
i never tried restarting my computer to fix these glitches, but if i avoid these^ then i avoid the glitch
That's a pain in the butt considering I'd have to reset my exp pendants...
When it looks like he's gunna start raining meteors down (he freezes in place and doesnt attack), i usually have everyone die and revive quickly. That fixes it 99% of the time for me
I find it never glitches if I restart my computer and laptop before entering.
TBH shutting down=u still lose the run and gotta wait for the time soo..i dont really know thats a fix. But normally it doesnt happen that often so its like.. do one run it glitches and next one it doesnt really but i dont think "shutting down" computer is a fix because u still dont kill it
