Would you get mad if you get charge extra for .70 cents?
I work at cold stone and some customers get mad over 70 cents (ex. They want almonds and asks for extra almonds) our rule is to charge .70 cents for extra.. Believe me or not people get really pissed off over 70 cents. So would you?
oh I see. Well I wouldnt be mad/complain then. But it should be free imo. However going mad is just dumb lol
Yeah the first topping is free but the rest are extra
Putting almonds on ice cream is such a white thing to do...but yeah, i mean if its extra i'd expect for it to be charged like you would if you want an extra topping on pizza. if they get mad its because you're charging close to a dollar for some nuts.
I mean let them know ahead of time and if they have a problem then they can deny the extra idk
Yea we always ask them first ifcharge is fine. When we ask them some customers go beyond mad lol
i wouldn't get mad if it was a .70 charge and i hadn't paid for it yet, but if you're like "u want some almonds on that?" then i assume that its free and if i say hell ya i want some almonds and then u charge me without telling me and i find out later then yea i'd be a bit pissed.
majority of the time, they're not angry because of the 70 cents itself...unless they are really that frugal/poor. it has more to do with the fact that they feel as if they are getting robbed of a privilege they feel they deserve for free. however, if you want extra things, you should pay for it since you're asking for an extra benefit that no one else receives normally. i personally believe they're acting ridiculous for getting mad for extra charges. the store is treating everyone equally, and if you want more, pay more. simple as that.
Yeah I feel like some customers are feeling that way but the fact that we have something on the wall, big enough for you to see, that says "Extra toppings will cost you .70 cents each(not like every oreo cookie you get is .70 cents ".. I feel like some people can't read but hey.. Original amount of toppings that needs to be scooped is 2 scoops and the original amount of toppings that needs to be grabbed is at least 4..
i got angry at burger king charging .50 cent for extra cheese. its not the amount, its the deceptive practice. they coulda just flat out say you want extra whatever for whatever amount? instead of asking do u want this? large size? then finding out the charge you extra for it. dishonest.
It's not dishonest when you realize that nothing in life is free.
paying a bit more for extra almonds is expected. i don't see why people would get mad over it, especially when it's only 70 cents...
edit: vote thing is broken for me.
I'd be mad if you didnt tell me that you will be charging me, and just straight out charged. I'd complain

They're probably angry over the fact of getting charged extra at all, even though it's only 70 cents.
well, yah, 70 cents for some almonds...
its real close to a dollar chocolate bar...
and ppl got this reaction to "extra fees"
