@Deciduous: that's really interesting to know, but that's intriguing they would start using a different style in the manga but truly the fighting styles and weirdness is what really hooks me in just to see how over the top the next episode gets..The story is interesting enough alone, but mixed in with its style really makes it awesome, but i am interested in how it changed in the next part

Hello everyone

I woke up, then I went to accounting. Came home, saw that math was cancelled(awwwwwwwww yea). Got an A on my accounting quiz. Paid my tuition for winter Quarter. Now I'm drinking Mountain Dew and Vodka.

@Liam: that's p much what the whole first part is like. it used to have art like [url=http://static.mangatraders.com/view10/101766/c96336f1b91a10fabcf0a41ca7d42d96.jpg]this[/url] too. as soon as the next part there is less bulkiness, less FotNS-ness, and the beginning of fabulousness and posing (the mangaka draws a lot of aesthetic inspiration from old Italian fashion mags). also fighting styles and enemies that are pretty weird, i would say it was the start of a trend towards mental-over-physical battle style that makes up the rest of the series. so plenty of strategizing, using powers and items that might otherwise seem useless/outmatched etc.

i'm not sure how to explain it either (wouldn't want to spoil anyway), but there's a huge shift in the series between parts 2 and 3. i doubt part 3 will come unless Jojo's gets a second season though.

@Deciduous: I've kinda noticed i'm up to the fifth episode i'm just adoring how nonsensically ridiculous it gets with each episode, I've never read the manga nor have i even played the games, but so far it peaks my interest :I helps me hold over till Say "I Love You" but i honestly really like this style since it's like fist of the north star c:

Then there's finals in around 2 weeks and I got a business presentation next week with my groupie. I sometimes wonder why I'm in uni, then I realize this is what society demands of me so I can "probably" get a good job.

@Liam: the anime is still in the first part of the series (it's up to 8 now) which is both the shortest and the weakest in terms of story/concepts. obv i'm going into it biased as a manga reader but the show is really faithful to the source material (aesthetically as well) while being concise. it's definitely low budget and the censorship seems a bit crazy (can't wait for that ridic gore on the BDs tho), but those are the only flaws aside from this weak first arc/it just not meshing with somebody.

I went to class then work. It was really embarrassing because I couldn't stop coughing while people were talking. Afterwards, I went over to my boyfriend's place. We ate meatloaf and baked potatoes for dinner and now we're studying (more like procrastinating for me). I have a lab practical for anatomy tomorrow ..

Woke up. Dreaded going to school.
.. went to school.
came home.
pondered on stuff.
oh crap.. I have homework to do..

Went to class, then lab where we had to measure live bugs. I hated it so much and I'm pretty sure by then end of it they hated me as well LOL.
Then I went home, studied, napped, finished Bakemonogatari, and studied some more. Still studying and will probably move on to another subject soon.
