*man gets down on one knee to propose*

"Elizabeth, will you..... have a state-authorized civil union with me?"
You have no clue how much you made me laugh.

The priest displays some hypocrisy throughout the video. Or a lot. Ah well...
honestly i think we should just get rid of the term marriage. like how you should say STI instead of STD
it's irrelevant unless you're a religious type, then that's fine; only have marriages in church.
otherwise, lets just use civil unions so the religious types cant have anything to be butt about

@Chocorate, this is totally, entirely irrelevant, but I LOVE your character.

Wow, this preacher is observant... I would've never realized that quotes from the 1950s about segregation would be the exact same as gays and gay rights. If the Bible was right in that case, then I wouldn't be friends with most of my friends. This whole "according to the Bible" thing isn't really... right. I don't mean to bash Christians (this whole post sounds like I'm trying to, but I'm really not...), but... well, marriage according to the Bible is also marriage between one man, 300 wives, and 700 concubines.

Also, why can't all people who follow the Bible be like my friend's church? My friend was making fun of a Bible she got that said something like, "Homosexuality is a sin. If you know someone who has been corrupted by homosexuality, you must take them to see your priest." She told me, "What would I do if I had to do this to every gay person I met? I'd be like, 'Father Andrews... You're... You're gay!' Hahaha!" All of her priests (except one) are gay.
