Perm Hyper Tele Rock on Phantom?

I was wondering if paying 30$ for a Permanent Hyper Teleport Rock was worth it or not on a Phantom. Since he has the ability to go into his ship from anywhere, and only take 3minutes to go to any continent from there.

It'd seem like a waste of a unique class ability to just bypass that with a Tele Rock. >_<

I remember the event where Nexon gave us free Hyper Tele Rocks for a week/month, man that was amazing! I could just *click* *bam!* in a new leveling spot. Very easy to try out dif maps and see which was best to train at.

What do you guys think?

PS. Can you use a Red Airplane while on Phantoms ship? Aka making travel time anywhere only 1minute? o_0
Okay, thanks to all of your input I have decided against getting the Teleport Rock

Maybe I'll be able to afford a decent Cane now >_<
Thanks for making this thread - I've been debating the exact same thing
I suppose I'll be waiting for the hype to go down and watch the price of Empress canes drop to about 1bil before buying. Now to decide whether or not to buy a Tele rock for my Battle Mage </3
Why should we pay for gas just to drive from one place to another? It should be free!

Seriously though, Nexon is running a business. For people who enjoy the game, $30 is nothing. Almost any decent game out there will cost around that much. Most MMORPGs DO NOT have free teleportation. Also, we get a range of face styles, hair styles, and skin tone choices when we make the character. Most MMORPGs will also charge money for such changes.
Not WoW or any Mmo ive played.
@crazypoorer: i dont see your point here. My point is that it should be free to teleport from 1 point to another. Why should we have to pay $30 just to teleport from map to map? Also, it's only usable on 1 character (Unless it's on an Adventurer). Then you gotta pay another $30 for another one of your characters to teleport from map to map. Most other games have this as a standard feature. Same with facestyle, eye color, hairstyle, hair color and skin tone changes.
You rather spend $30 for something that would last longer correct?
60 bags of chips lasts longer than a meal of lobster
i could justify it ACTUALLY being worth it if all chars shared cash shop inventory.

Am I still going to buy it for my phantom? HELL YES

1sec>3mins and it gets you t more specific maps than phantoms ship can.
yea nice waste of 30$.

It would be good for collecting codex and all that, but otherwise I think its completely a waste.
no its not. $30 for something to just tele around (and you cant even teleport to LHC now so its even more a waste now) is a waste. $30 is almost any other game will get you 6 months of playtime that gives you total access to everything. Nexon is so dam greedy.
Wouldn't that make eatting lobster pointless since it could add up to $70 while everyone could just buy 60 bags of chips?

I say it's only worth it if you play mainly explorers or if you play 1 character and only 1 character more than 3-6 months from now.

- You can ONLY tele to Sharp Cliff 4 to get to the entrance of LHC but honestly, is that really the only place that you need your traveling needs for?
- It's only worth it if you boss a lot, you share the rock with multiple characters (hence why I only bought it on my MM), you're travel-happy, don't want to rely on people to summon on/tele to, and you have no patience of waiting for the boat. I rather not pay 9.9k a month if I know that I'll still be playing MS for a long time. Also, it's extremely helpful to have it to tele out of NLC while buying pots instead of logging onto a mule.

it's definitely worth it, it gives you the ability to not only switch from continent to continent, but any sub map as well. the only exception would be lhc besides the entrance, and a few others. definitely worth it, if you are an impatient person. i hated wasting 15-20 minutes just walking where i need to be.
You can tele to the map where you enter the LHC-maps though.
Yeah but I was pointing Wall 2 and so on. You can't just hyper tele rock there anymore I think.

You can't use an airplane. And if you have the money go ahead. It'll make hunting for bossing materials easier and traveling around to boss. Thing is you can't teleport to LHC now though so yeah.
