Arans are a fun class. I had gotten one to 180 before. It is a very good class to try out because it is one of the more unique ones with the playstyle trying to be conservative and stuff. You won't be using alot of pots either. However, if you're going to be funding it with alot, it's not gonna be the best class for soloing bosses. Like, i'm not saying it's bad it's just that, it doesn't have a kick as good as other classes. The survival is like any other warrior. The only other bad thing I can think about is the stance. Last time I played it, which was last year, aran stance is a 90% chance. So yeah. Keep that in mind.

You shouldn't judge a class by the DPS chart, as long as you're funded you're bound to perform better than another class that's unfunded.

I'm able to hit 1.8m on HoH mobs with my Beyonder Blade, haven't tested on bosses yet.

Oh, as for the HP problem, I also have around 24k HP, with the Kaiser level 2 link skill(15% HP), and Cannoneer link skill(5% HP for level 1)

Well right now, the final attack glitch that most people are experiencing is pretty annoying
Other than that, arans are great fun and have smexy skills

You should get warrior S card set and lvl 2 kaiser's link skill. I have 20k hp at 175

@zpattack12: Dont take the dps/m charts to serious, many of them dont really apply to the real game since the people made it with perfect posible escenarios for each class, that will be really hard to accomplish in the game.

Who the hell cares that Arans are one of the worst classes in the game? They're more fun than most classes, that's what should matter.

Damage isnt terrible o.o, the hp is fine (Only low compared to other warriors) but i never had problems with that (24k now) + we have drain to tank high dmg.

The only that i can agree is mobility and resist, but after red we gonna do really fine on this.

@itaintsweet: Well, I did use hp pots at the earlier stages of HoH, and when I was just starting out at HoH. Arans don't hit that many hits per second, and combo drain is limited. A lot of pot usage is just to ensure I don't die, because I don't like losing 10%.

Did you ever think about how he may not be as funded so he can't recover as much HP as a funded person would?
No need to call other people 'nubs' for that.

My aran was my first 120, i love the combo effects, the swing, the drain, the SMEXY FINAL BLOW
they are definitely fun

Yea, that's true, but this will all be rectified and Aran will be even more fun with our new chained Swings, trust me.

@AckarRed: hard as in leveling since like all classical warriors (ya know except zero, DA, DS) they lack mobility. it took me about 5 hours for my lumi to get to 127. that is stand at one postion and spam reflection. soo boring but best way to train as lumi. while my aran took a few weeks

As much fun as I have with Aran, I'm gonna disagree with you on challenging. He's real easy to use, either use Final Charge for rushing or Overswing/Beyond Blade for attacking.

@zpattack12 Our upcoming buff boosts our mobility to acceptable levels, still keeping us one of the few classes without a Flash Jump copy. Combat Step in KMS is lively, trust me. Our damage is now improved with hotkeyed skills, despite killing our "combo" theme, but now our Swings can be chained, making them just as fast as our current swings. We also get 50% Status Resistance with Advanced Combo Ability and despite having lesser HP than the warriors, we still have two Defense skills, making our defenses 2nd to Paladins. With all this, we'll be at average levels, that is until RED comes up and we drop down a few pegs.

@zpattack12: maybe but to me fun doesn't depend on how high you hit. sure its great to be like Proxie(d) aka jake soloing zak in 3 sec but that gets so boring after a fairly short time. try privat servers to check. never spent more than 4 days on one but 8 years on GMS

@SidTerra: I agree with what you said, but what I think you don't understand is this. With the all classes that have the same range, Aran is the 2nd lowest damage dealing class in the game right now. You have to be dedicated to play Aran.

They're the best class in regards to fun if you don't care about damage.

@zpattack12: the people that hit faster do less damage though. like dual blade with same range does 80k per line so its the same. and yah sure arans won't match up with lumi but lumis are plain boring. one button and u hit entire map what's the fun. aran's challenging, hard and rewarding which is fun and that's all a game is about

@SidTerra: Sure, you do 200k a line. But think about this. How fast are you hitting? High numbers =/= high damage.

@zpattack12: mobility is bad in all warriors and yah ok low hp. status resist isn't that great and not all characters have em either. get those all cure pots instead of hp pots. and terrible damage? i have spent 600 mil on my aran and i do 200k + damage at level 145. for my funding and level that's insane damage

I really love playing arans but seriously they need a buff

They are fun as heaven. All those combos and key spamming <3

um yea they are fun but i would get a joystick for it i currently use a ps3 controller when i play on my aran so i macro the attack button something easy to spam on the controller.

I like the rhythm of pressing "attack(ctrl)" to attack while training or bossing, especially with music. That's what makes me keep going back to my Aran. However, I don't like being seduced every other minute >>.
