Corsair

Is any1 still gonna stick with their corsair after the red?

Personally,i am a bit skeptical of the revamp as they still didnt fix the survivability issue. I am a big pally/sair fan so i might have to back to my pally since it looks so much better after the revamp i will stil wait and check how good the revamp is for the sair

I'll be sticking with the Corsair! Can't wait for the new updates. Gotta keep that Corsair Pride alive!

Disappointments/Cons
-I'm only disappointed that Eight-Legged Easton got decreased (I love the skill good mob skill),
But with headshot/bomb ship combo (plus other goodies like better crew AI and member). It adds a bit more variety.

-I also wished they at least improved survivability early on though (for newer Corsairs). I digress, what skills we have now help a lot. Just saying that it would help younger/newer Corsairs deal with the 100-150 and not having those skills.[/quote]

what do u mean by ELE got decresed? the dmg is boosted to 649% from 590%

wow I've been really mia from maple so I just found out about the revamp...
I'm probably not going to be playing much when it comes but I'm still very excited! I'm even tempted to upgrade my equips even though I haven't really touched them in over a year.
ahhh! And the improved mobility! YAYYY. That's what's been bothering me the most about this class... I'm getting super hyped and I'm def sticking with this class now. <3

I would probably switch between my Corsair and Cannon Master since they both got nice updates

Don't mind my level, but I made this character when Pirates first came out, and had always been my main ever since. Basically I'll play it no matter what, as long as they don't take away my ability to summon cute OCTOS!

It seems like it'd be interesting, considering ship is fixed. I don't have anyone near my Corsair's level, and I always loved it anyways.
I wouldn't quit unless it became like, a Paladin. No offense to them, it's just not what I made my character for.

- Flash jump
- Wings is now even better
- No cooldown brain scramber or whatever it's called (becoming the new MM)
- Ship is back
- The bomb skill with the ship is good

- Pretty good overall changes. I wil test it out on my pirate when the revamp comes

If anything there will be more sairs. I'm seeing more of them running around already. Yeah we aren't in the spotlight for RED but I'm expecting to see some bandwagoners.

Pretty excited, just hoping the overlapping of skills doesn't kill the job and just becomes spam boat for everything.
Makes me want to try have a goal of 100% resistance now with how crew works tho since 100% crit seems kind of lame because both boat and headshot have a given 100% already. So guess yay for new goals.

I've out too much effort/funding (like what 200millon? lol.....) to just ditch my sair. As well as that I'm poor to afford ay more % on any other characters or empress gear.
And I love sairs so why ditch them?
We still have the survivability issue yeah but our potential (imo) outweights our squishy-ness. If you're really passionate about maining a sair you might as well buy a pet to auto pot you or potion pot. After RED I'm staying faithful on that Basiler's DPS Chrats and that we do make it as 11th on the DPS charts. Despite not fixing our survivabilityissues they buffed up some of damage (20% Jolly Roger, No CD Hesashot, Quickdraw [should be reworked], Good status resist with crew memebers absorbing status + our hig resist (?). BATTLESHIP BOMBER. Pretty cool attack which is somehow better than no cd headshot. I think our survivability is just a mnor sacrifice for out damage output. On the other hand Nexon GMS get you shazz together I'm still waiting for you to fix the Majestic Prescence FA Bug & Parrot targetting >.< >.< </3

I will never leave my sair ,mained this for 5 years now and never switched to another class even tho I wanted to because mutiny update was so lame to me. Am only looking forward to wings and bsb mostly. Idk you ppl say survive ability is an issue when's its so easy to get % hp. Hoping more bs skills for 5th job that's just me tho.

I don't know much but I watched a video on YouTube and the head shot no cool down is getting me hyped. I hope it's a complete boss killer.

If you stack a sair up to a pally, you will always see it as having a survival ablity issue. It's never really had a major issue in surviving since in general it gains more hp than normal ranged characters. It has more resistance than most characters. It gained a hyper that is pretty much HB and can stack with HB. Considering many bosses in RED are doing % attacks, then all classes would be in the same boat minus pallys, so no I'm not quitting my sair. I've been comfy with it for ages and I will continue to play my sair no matter what. I make the best of any patch

The revamp also fixed many of our other issues, such as horizontal mobility and inventory space. It gave a significant boost in damage as well, so its been overall good. The main negative is the overlapping skills.
