I concur, the link isn't even worth a link slot, Unless you consider [b]5%/10%[/b] chance of not dying useful...The character card on the other hand might serve purpose to some.

It's not a face accessory...it's actually a hat which can be obtained in the recent Murgoth event shop, 'Nine-tailed fox mask', wish I knew the logic behind Nexon. Right, I know that feeling, I also stare at the character creation page for quite some time, and once I finalize my decision, perhaps half an hour has already elapsed.
What's on your face? OT: I really don't know yet. I'll probably just spend 10 minutes in front of the create a character screen like I always do, get frustrated because every name I want is unavailable and then settle for a mediocre name that i'm not happy with but in my eyes is acceptable.
