If im correct both take place in the same world with a span of a few decades also both are made by the same Author and i must admit Accel World chars do have a bit more emotional depth than the ones in SAO

Well I'm a yui fan.. Only reason why I liked that episode. Other than that the dialogues was cliche and this weeks episode was super cheesy. I mean the anime is not super terrible. Yes it is overhyped but that's not the reason why it sucks. I can give my critism for this anime but ehhh. Tell me what you think.

Just watched recent episode! Yui channn <3 well there are a lot of critism for this anime but in my opinion it's not really bad at all. Waiting for that new season of animeseason to come out Jormungand 2 and pycho pass

GGO was great wish they explored the game more but predicting the prediction line was genius also Lyfa>Shinon>Yuuki> other 3 can have a random order wasnt a big fan of Asuna but she gain some respect after Mother Rosario

@RainyDumplings Yeah I agree that it skipped WAY TOO MUCH, it just doesn't have that nice feel and flow like the light novels did.

I've read the whole light novel, and while I think the anime isn't all that bad, I'm disappointed. They had to cut out several things and/or make things move faster. Why not just slow things down a bit and not cap it at 25 episodes? I'm sure then the general public would enjoy it more instead of randomly going, "Oh, 2 years past by already!" and the fact that somehow in those 2 years, Asuna and Kirito developed feelings for each other.
As for the latest episode, The Girl of Morning Dew, they rushed it! The orphanage part is crucial is a big plot in Yui's arc! We didn't even really get to know Sharon. (I think that's what here name was...) While the scene's were beautiful and all, the I'd been looking forward to the orphanage part.
Overall, the light novel is way better than the anime, but the anime I guess is worth watching too.

I stopped at episode 2. I realized that it may be a good anime and I have waiting for new episodes so I dropped it before anything good happened. I'm going to watch it all when it's done airing.

Any who, I found that SOA is a bit fast paced, and unlike the main protags of Mirai Nikki and Accel World, Kirito is actually a man! I mean, he even went all in and married the girl. Overall, it's not the best, but enjoyable.
