What Appetizers do you prefer before the entrees?
Usually if I'm going with someone I would get the soup and they would get the salad or bread sticks. Seems to make sense so we can try a variety. So which do you prefer? about soup, salad , or bread?

Bread or soup.
bread at a restaurant, but my ma's appz are the best. she makes waterchestnuts wrapped in bacon <3
I like tiny little wraps or breaded thingies.
some good quality beef carpaccio or parma ham/salami milano, bruschetta is good too but it needs to be done right & it's hard to find proper bruschetta outside of italy
fresh bread in spinach and artichoke dip ahhhh yeeeeeessss
swiss & spinach mini tarts
a small cup of soup (especially pumpkin curry , but french onion in a heartbeat)
chips & guac is a classic...
cream cheese-stuffed jalapenos
charcuterie platters. wit dat balsamic & olive oil. yeeeee.
salad with dressing. bread makes me full. and bread is plain af.
I prefer soup or salad because bread is usually free and I end up filling myself up with it.
That's not what I'd consider "appetizers" though. Many restaurants give you bread without asking (at no charge), and water is usually given before they ask what kind of drinks you'd like. To me appetizers are the finger food, like potato skins, nachos, chicken (tenders, wings), etc. I don't normally get appetizers though as it's just me and my fiance most of the time and she's a light eater so, it would mostly be up to me to eat the appetizer, but the main meal is usually enough to fill me up depending on the serving sizes at the restaurant. So normally that part is skipped.
Bread.
Cream of mushroom soup
My stomach hasn't the capacity for a multiple-course meal.
too expensive for me and the servings are small
