Well, in X the opposite happens. I encountered a horde of zangoose attacking a seviper x_x. I'd gladly trade you my zangoose I caught for a seviper, if you have one.

@Archfiendz Seviper and Zangoose are in interspecies war with each other for eternity. It's really cool they co-evolved and Zangoose is resistant to poison. So in a horde battle, The Sevipers gang up on Zangoose and almost completely ignore the main player's pokemon.

What do you mean the seviper always kill it? Just take them out one by one

I taught a lv 17 Kangaskhan from Glittering Cave Earthquake and it almost beat the Zangoose while wiping out the Seviper. Hope it works for you too!

Try using something like bulldoze or earthquake. It should be super effective on the seviper and neutral on the zangoose.

Audino with heal pulse and let zangoose attack sevipers? I don't know D:

Try using a pokemon that knows "Follow Me," where it makes itself the target. Not sure if it works with hordes, but it seems like the best option if it works

Try using ominous wind if you have a pokemon with it? Im not sure if it works though, haven't tried it. (drifloon)
