Windia Scammer alert

hi guys,

It's obvious to me now that you really cannot trust anyone in this game and I know it's entirely my fault that I have been trusting. I just wanted to let you know about a scammer by the name of lDeathsnl or something like that. She may look "pro" or legit, but I can tell you firsthand; that she is nothing of the sort. I gave her a $10 nx code, and after she redeems it, tells me the code is invalid and that the code was a fake. Her friend told me to check if the code was real by putting it in myself and when I did, I get the message that the code has already been redeemed. I demanded her to pay me, but she leaves the room and goes off.
Again, I know it's my fault that I trusted her, but I just wanted to share to help future transactions. Do not buy or sell to this person, NO MATTER WHAT. I admit it, she looks really pro, but then again so does BAR1403.

Ok, people, remember, this is a game. (Shocker!)
So serious. Chillax please.

Now. People who side with OP simply argue that she is part of their guild, they made a fantastic trade one time, can totally trust. wtf.
People who side with TS says that she wouldn't go through such hardship to inform of her $10 scam. huh.

OP says, "Chillax, TS is scammer. Besides who would care so much for $10 worth of mesos? It's not that bad."
OP would not, if she lost $10, be calm and say to herself that it wasn't worth much, because she CHOSE to get NX and SELL it in order to EARN money. A scammed payer would not simply idle around, she would be quite sad. TS shows this, as she seems to be relaxed a bit more as time goes by. I am not making a deduction here, but so far, it's quite clear.

@Zuchinni: The "scammer's" proof is very weak, as has been mentioned by other people in the thread. I could come up with the same proof if I copy/pasted a little, used NX such that I had less than 10k, and inputted random numbers and letters the page for redeeming Karma Koin codes.

Your opinion. There are still people asking for further evidence or simply posting w/o reading and making a conclusion. And tbh, I WAS actually done, until you started quoting me.

@Mewtwo: Feel free to. I will be laughing at myself as well, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

@bluebomber24: I suppose. However, (this is going deeper than some people would be willing to go) the TS could easily find another card or even have a friend take a picture of a random card to screw over the accused scammer. I don't think the picture of the code is what we need most here.
maybe this is why nexon asks people not to buy or sell nx from players? maybe just maybe they are on to something?
Nah, it's all about the profit motive. When you have multiple forms of currency anywhere, you will have people wishing to exchange them. Imagine if nexon added a button next to the mesos button in trade, but for nx instead. I don't think anyone would be against that except nexon themselves, who would lose money from potential customers who would have to go out to buy an nx card or buy it from their site. First and foremost to nexon is money, everything that follows are just side effects.

Death could have passed the code on to someone else or redeemed it on a mule account. Transaction history is not proof.

Honestly the TS has no evidence at all. She's making up dumb excuses about why she can't post pictures. Based on what she's saying alone I'm concluding she's a scammer. At least the accused is uploading what she has. It kinda sucks that the 1st person to make a thread about it, is the one everyone believes. Oh, Basil.

I agree and the TS can also start by showing the card since the code is something we already know

@sinful7sins: ? and I am pointing out that one already stated it. What would happen if both said they didn't have access to a camera? I just find it odd, that most of the burden is being pushed on the accused when the accuser hasn't even shown the card. Usually, one side provides evidence and the other provides counter. Somethines...you shouldn't know about me, you should always use your own logic to come to your opinion, that's what being human is.

@lkidduol: HEY your evidence is not evidence at all, and you're just as undeserving of trust as the OP is. HOWEVER, there is one way we can be 100% sure. Use a camera to video record yourself signing into your account. Show that lDeathInsl is on that account. Then, click your NX purchase history and show us the very first page.

This is a LEGITIMATE fool proof way of proving that you're not a scammer. Do not use Bandicam or other on-computer recording devices because it is way too easy to split video files and cut/paste scenes from other videos. You must use a camera or phone to video record yourself.

Although, knowing most scammers, you probably "don't have a phone or any access to a camera" despite having a fully functioning computer.

@swayes is 100% a scammer. I bought a simple royal face coupon on my mule mmmmmmmmmm01 (yeah, liandrys, it's me) and she runs away. How low can you go? 3,300nx? Liandrys is also on the scammer list of my current guild, pixel of windia, which is quite well known. I don't have a screenshot because of how minuscule of a loss 3300nx is for me, thus take what you will, however Liandrys is a definite scammer and in my opinion anything she spews should be taken with less than a grain of salt.

Sup mate. I would base it more on the fact that the TS failed to provide or even try to provide a SS. At least Death tried. Again, I don't know the whole story, so I can't say anything is 100% true. I am just going based of who I know and the SS that were provided in this thread.

Haha talking to bar is like talking to a real bar 0.o

I've calmed down some, and I'm not really upset because I've realized that this is just a mere obstacle in life.

as for this transaction and future ones as well, it's really only up to you to decide, what to believe.

Death, I've only known you for a very short amount of time, and I'm afraid it wasn't a good moment either. I know I cannot really judge you from just one event. And I know you won't pay me back, nor will I ever expect you to. but, that's okay.

I've always been a believer in change, and I have faith.
Maybe one day, we will be friends.

I can confirm this. He was in my guild and left instantly after this happened. I have witnesses watching the run-away. I asked why he left and he just ignored me. 10 minutes or so later I saw him with a new NX gear. I am sorry for your loss. I will pay for your mesos that you have lost in return of him being my guildie.

Edit: I thought you were saying Bar1403 was the scammer, but I can confirm Bar is a scammer.

I know I'm jumping into this conversation a bit late but, all these photos can be easily be photoshoped much like iGoRawrxD (I don't know how to do that tag thing) said, but how about we just settle the conversation with this; you can either trust the TS or Death here on future trades partaking in your own risks. If you get scammed by one or the other, then now you know who to believe. Honestly I don't many transactions lately due to scamming and the sorts (although people buying some of the stuff I get from gach are honest people). This is a really "simple" solution that can be resolved "easily" IMO.
Also to Blueee,, not to hate or anything but a criminal will try to do anything to get out of jail right? What makes a person who scammed not looking bad any different? And I'm not taking a side here, for all I know Death did scam. Then again, I don't know that.

I don't get why no one bothers to take a screen shot of any transaction that can be deemed risky. It doesn't take awhile to download fraps or to press the screenshot button. When I make big trades I always record the trade, despite the fact that it takes longer.

It's better to get scammed with proof, than to get scammed without proof. (common sense I suppose)

I'm on the fence about this argument. Yet I'm kinda leaning more towards @lkidduol because TS hasn't provided any form of proof of his/her own.

No offence, but if you want to sell nx, just come to fm 2 and we'll buy it off you for a higher ratio even...
95% of the people in FM 2 are legit. All you need to do is go in, ask for vouchers, and you'll be good to go. People from the Teamwork alliance, Authority alliance, Cynical alliance... ect ect. It's quite a long list but just ask for vouchers, make sure they're in a good guild so you know you're not wasting your time, and after you get vouchers, you'll know it's safe. Make sure they're not BS vouchers either. You can confirm this by making sure there are notable/well known people vouching. If they're in one of those good guilds that I mentioned, simply ask for a guild Jr. to vouch. Guild Jr's are legit, otherwise they wouldn't be Jr's of such popular guilds.

CherryTigers is ign, got over 100 vouchers.

And I have no clue who scammed who, but from now on, no matter what happens, just come to FM 2 or go to some popular guild member who wants to buy nx...

Last time, someone sold SilentTM and I like 400k nx. We have lots of trusted people in our guild who will buy.

@lkidduol Tbh, we could all just do the easy thing and not trade with you nor the TS. But tbh, TS is basically telling us to be careful trading with you, giving us a warning, while you're going off about how it's just $10 and how she's lying. That seems pretty sketchy IMO.

This solution may work. Death already posted her Nx history and the 'purported' non-redeemed card. If the TS is telling the truth, they can post thier NX history and the screen of the card.
