They changed the leaf convertion where 200 leaves where 1 coin. Now 1 coin is 100 leaves and players who exchanged them before this change will get compensated:

Just an FYI for those complaining how non rewarding farming leaves is.

I'm not even farming but I have like 1,200 coins and 400 on other chars, the only thing I don't like is 750 coins for a damage skin? Like really? The game is not going to crumble because damage skins 750 it's too much if you ask me for something like that but ok it's the only thing I really want, who cares about primes only basic people are crying for them

Cool, also, from May 20th onwards, you can get another 5 coins daily from the Pig and Boars quest from the scholarly shroom.

You have to do the corresponding monster investigation quests first. After that, they'll show up every day if you talk to the Scholarly 'Shroom.

Hey, this is super helpful. I'm just wondering how to get the black mushroom gang quest and the water thief monster quest? Do I have to go to the event place with the two mushroom npc's and get it from there, or something? Or does it pop up on the left side of our screen? Thanks!

Being in your 20s is not much different from say being a teenager with a bit more reponsibility and bills to pay. Depending how well off your family is, some are still immature af.

Though calling someone a no life due to lack of personal effort is just laziness.

In general though, if you don't plan on working to earn something, someone else will and you shouldn't talk smack about them doing something else you were too lazy to do or rather not do. It's all on you to make the best of your own opportunities. It's all about growing up and managing your priorities. Just because something was easy in the past does not mean it's going to be easy forever. For example, getting legal citizenship, getting your drivers license, purchasing a house even, etc. Prices go up, get with the times.

Note: I am a poorly funded noob who does not hit cap. Also, please refrain from talking smack on the forum, you only lose credibility for yourself and sound like a whiny brat.

My example may not be as extreme as @AxnSlicer's but I've given you all the general lay out on how to earn coins aside from farming leaves which you can easily do afterwards.

@axnslicer well if it is 300 per hour and you have 10,000, you play maple for over 18 hrs since the event came. bru i do not play as much as u.
and just out of curiousiry. how do you get 300? Boxes only give 50 daily.

I'm getting about 300 coins per hour, and judging from how much you whine, you'll probably never figure out the trick.

@Sweetener: Lol.. indeed. Who has all day to play the game and farm right? Unless they have no life. But anyways, I believe Nexon will adjust the coin shop soon. They might add 3 more scrolls per character and lower some coin prices. Lets keep them fingers crossed and hope for the best! <3

How is farming leaves/coins abusing? It's called hard work and dedication. Unless you bot like your name implies then yeah. Coin Shop is expensive AF too. So in retro-spec, 10th anniversary does suck for the time being.

All is fine, only thing I wish because I am farming too many leaves is the rate be 1 coin to 100 leaves... But ya, leaf farming isn't the ONLY way to get coins but def the only thing I'll be doing for now. =p

Everyone hitting cap for free does not make the game better. A lot of people worked hard or spent a lot to get where they're at with their funding. However, you do not need to be funded in any way, shape or form to participate in this event and benefit.

Perfect example, make a new account with 0 funds and just do what the guy above me just said. Free prime if you work for it, zero funds needed, no money input. Just time and effort.

Just because you can't abuse it the same way you always have does not mean the anniversary sucks. There are other options such as crafting and other things.

It's not even hard. 10 scholor quests each giving 30 coins that's one prime per character right there. 3 for daily login, 15 for black mushroom gang daily quest, 10 for water theif quest, and 5 for boar quest that's an easy 33 coins a day. You also have double drops on weekends which makes farming so easy.

@traitor nexon should be trying to make the game better for all people. not just the funded. maple anniversary is usually the way i make money.

its basically 1 prime per char if you do all investigate monster quest.

@gGreg: That basically gave you a free whopping 100 coins to go knock yourself out. Just getting your 50 coins a day from boxes and 3 coins from daily login isn't all that hard. By the time you finish your boxes, you'll have more than enough letters to complete a few quests. With that said, you can choose to spend it all on a prime or buy something else. I'm just talking about minimal coin farming here, people can still get over 200-300 coins a day when done right.

@VivaBasura: I see where you're coming from with that too. Unfortunately, we can't have every scroll pass right? ._. But other ways to increase chances include: Lucky Day + Max Diligence + Guild Skill + Spell Trace fever, it's still not easy but it gives you a pretty damn good chance to scroll it. I understand your frustration because gearing is no easy task

I think it's "fine" the way it is, in terms of having primes harder to obtain[so far, I've gotten enough coins for 2]. Last year was just way too "easy" to abuse and farm hundreds of these things. Do you know the impact on the market for having these easily obtainable? It's meant to be the [b]best[/b] current scrolls in the game, and then there's also spell trace fever having the option to perfect the 2nd best option in the game. Other than that, you weren't meant to farm everything in the shop.
