i really hate elite farmers

so i was trying to train my evan (im rolled him up this morning, probably gonna it) and im at drakes, leveling pretty darn fast, and then these two high levels come in and start ksing me without saying anything. i try to tell them its a grim map in order to get them to leave, and they say it's their channel lol.

y'all.. why not farm at high level places? why come to lower level training grounds and be buttholes..... lol nexon pls get rid of elite bosses tyvm

ayy lmao^ they'll come into your map and then ask you if dark or grim, and then mindlessly keep ksing you like an idiot till' one spawns. This is why i prefer not to train alone at drakes.

There's a large guild in mybckn that comes into maps and starts ksing monsters just to check if the channel is dark or grim. They'll bring their whole guild if your map is on dark energy. One person from that guild even threatened to bring his NL to "actually ks" me.
Like that's going to scare me, grow up.

It's a shame that nothing can be done to these people.

Anyone who's actually ksing you at drakes wouldn't count as an elite farmer. Those guys you met are just idiots. I doubt anyone who's actually farming for elites would attack the monsters

I hate them too. Every time I train a new character I find the same people circling drakes and bothering me. It's annoying to cc my kanna and myself, and they always think they're god damn pros cause they hit more than a lvl 50.

As a wholesale retailer of Elite Boss Drops,
I purchase locally farmed Elite Boss Drops from farmers for a discount,
and I resale at retail market price.
And what a coincidence, those 2 used to supply me with Elite Boss Drops.
I see you are also from MYBCKN.
Now that I see this, they will definitely be on their own and I will boycott their farms.
Unfortunately I noticed one of them has gone retail himself and opened up a new grocer as of recent.
I will however, remove them from my BL.
Good luck training in peace there, you won't get your peace, drakes are a hotspot for Elite Boss Farmers.
Most of them will just chill around until the boss actually spawns.
At that point just try to hit it once and not die.
On the bright side, since I am a humanitarian and I like to try out the dirty work once a while, I farm myself sometimes.
As a high levelled Kanna, I provide Kishin for the actual farmers.
Beads of sweat roll down me as I spend a great deal of power decreasing the respawn times.
I lay down on my Flying Bed and continue doing what I was doing.
I wait for the farmer to summon the Elite Boss, then I kill it, using my own manual hard work, to experience the true farmer life.
As a humanitarian activist and with overflowing generosity, I then share a portion of my rewards to the farmer to complete the fair trade deal.

Poor me. My kanna got randomly defamed yesterday and now I can't convince anyone to fame me so I could do RPS to do the Kid Gamsper daily attendance check. ;_;

(Aka usually, people with numbers somewhere after/before their names can prove to be kids. stonerock19, getrektnoob2008, something like that. But the character name change event might've falsified my fact.)

Someone please tell me how to properly add players. My players are getting removed on Basil everytime I tried to update them.

@aeroreborn: i dont want the loot tho, i want to train :S

i mean, i changed channels (afterwards, i had the channel first), but these dudes were just bein rude. i told them it was grim and asked them super nicely if they could let me train for a few more levels (i was just grinding to 50), but they decided to ks me anyways

Just go and do something while they are there, they leave pretty soon most of the times

@appall: Partly agree with you on the IGN part. Although, even those 'kids' are so obsessed with getting a "look-how-cool-muh-4-letter-ign-is" name.

Back on topic: I have only been able to farm a few elites by myself lately, but I did notice one time at Drakes that everyone was hitting 1's on the boss only right after it spawned, allowing most people to hit the boss and get a drop that way. So even if they are bothering you, you'll still get your part of the loot and they'll gtho afterwards. I could be wrong though.

Like @trumpet205 said, if they're more than 20 levels above the mobs in question then elite mobs won't spawn for them. This is why I avoid Drakes when I train my characters =/

If they are high level just change channel and leave them be. They cannot summon elite boss all by themselves. You can only summon elite boss if you are within level of the monster you are killing.

Alternatively you could just report them for KSing. Not sure if GM will do anything about it but KSing is prohibited under Terms and Condition.

It's getting so bad that they're starting to make mules just specifically for farming elites.
It's a new cult.

@wall: Yeah as soon as I see language like that used I automatically start to judge. To further your list, other common lingo used by little brats include:
UMAD
UJELLY
Bruh, Brah, Broski or any other "pewdiepie" language
kappa and kek.
You can tell a lot about a mapler by their ign and typing style, I guess that's partly why good igns are so valuable.
