Why do people hate Obama? Serious question

I'm mostly unaware of what he does wrong, or exactly what he does good. I heard he kills people who appear as potential threats with drones. That said, the only reason I like him more than Romney is because Romney seems like an idiot. Not like I can vote anyways.
All I get from my fellow middle school classmates are violent declarations on how they are going to kill Obama with an umbrella, probably inspired by republican parents...

Can anyone take the time to explain to me what he does wrong, and also what he does good?

Also, do you like or dislike the current president of the United States of America?

Honestly, I dislike Obama, but that doesn't mean I like Romney either. I am not conservative nor am I liberal. There are certain things both sides support/believe that I disagree on. Although if I had to pick between the two, I'd take Barack Obama over Mitt Romney. It's mainly because of the fact that Romney will start a possible World War III
with Iran. That's probably going to make Iran drop a bomb on the US. I look at what both parties are planning and/or thinking that persuades me to vote for them. And that gets me to the point where I have to say that I hate how most people in the country are ignorant when it comes to politics. All they think is, "Oh, Obama didn't do so well as president of the U.S, so I'm going to automatically vote for Romney." They won't look at what will happen when either are elected. They won't think about the dangers that one of them might put the U.S. in. I was relieved that Obama was chosen over Romney because I thought about the fact that since people didn't like Obama, they will vote for Romney before the election and it made me think that Romney was automatically going to be the new president of America.

As I said before, I don't like either side, but for me, Obama is the best choice, because Romney has more cons as a president.

EDIT: And I think that Ron Paul was the best choice for president
Why do people assume I must be racist because I dislike Obama... I dislike him for the policies he supports and is trying to get passed, not race...
Which policies?

@RugbyBall Except you're completely wrong. Not that many people voted for Obama just because he's black. And regardless, I bet there are people who voted for Romney just because he's white, so what's your point?

Racial minority groups (blacks/latinos) always vote overwhelmingly for the democratic candidate in every election, their skin color is irrelevant, the demographic you cited showed the same support to Bill Clinton when he was in office, and if a white Democrat was running they would have voted just the same.
They rigged it? Never heard of that. I actually see stuff saying Obama rigged it.
It was all over the news. The Republican't party mounted a concerted effort to rig the elections in many states using "old-fashioned" techniques like trying to block black voters from exercising their right to vote through manipulation of voting hours, locations, registration and gerrymandering voting districts. Several of these activities were blocked by the Federal courts, others were blocked by the US Justice department. Some of the measures which remained forced people to stand in lines for 7 and 8 hours to exercise their constitutional right to vote in elections.

I don't know how you could have missed seeing it.

The only "Obama rigged elections" stuff that made the news was Republican'ts whining about "ACORN", a group which hasn't even existed for years.
In other words, they were lying about that too.
Seriously?

It's because he's a black man who has succeeded in rising to the top position in the United States of America, something the "white majority" (ie: Republican'ts) have a very hard time accepting as being "right".

They make up stories about how he's not really American, he's an "other"... not "one of us", and use racially charged "code words" to describe him and his political policies in an attempt to marginalize his success. They still can't accept that he beat a white man, not once but twice, in an equal competition. They even tried to rig the competition in favor of the white man the last time around and he still won.

Regardless of anything you hear from detractors about his politics being "socialist" or "communist" (terms most people who use them have no clue of the actual meaning of the words), it's racial hatred. Plain and simple.
It's pretty sad that racism is still around, even in the covered up forms.

Once you answer my question, everything will fall into place.
He was a businessman who knew what he was doing. He was willing to tank hits in votes for the betterment of the economy as opposed to trying to appease everyone by spending money we don't have.

Because he wants to screw up my future career, causing me to be jaded and hating people, thus turning me into a money hungry pineapple.

It is because people are ignoring the Congress.

I get the feeling you don't even know what socialism is.

It's over, but it's still not completely irrelevant.

His presidency is just unlucky enough to be littered with last-minute changes and threats of an economic recession that would give any president trouble.
He's not the president that brings good ideas that this country needs, but he's far from being a worthless chump that'll send America into a massive depression without effort.
