Story, versatility, looks, and fun.
Well, I stuck with my Bishop because I wasn't too interested in an attacking class (I've basically abandoned all of my other characters).
The 300 exp I get from healing is a plus xD
I picked Xenon because I can fly and I like whips... <3
well it also depends on what [xaznninja/url] wants to hunt down, so i can stay away from that class he is hunting down
Only 3 categories for me.
Does it mob well?
Are the animations dull and do they catch my eye?
Finally , whats the story behind the character and is it relevant at all?
Corsair, the skills are so unique!
I roll a dice
My Archmage was originally going to be a Cleric. I wanted to play with others. This was several years ago, so all the old PQs that have been streamlined were much longer, and going from 1 to 50 potentially meant spending weeks going through kerning and ludi pq. I was looking forward to being selected for my healing abilities; I would have been that cleric who didn't huff and puff when people asked to be healed.
Somewhere in my 20s, something happened that sparked an internal debate between cleric and f/p wizard. Poison training through second/third job was very unpopular at the time, but oldies like Porter (among many others) were showing how poison breath could be used for rapid second job leveling, and how poison mist could be used at squids and sharks to power through third job. If I picked the Cleric, my path would have been laid out for me already. I knew what I was planning on doing. But if I made an offensive mage, I would get to try something that not a lot of people had tried yet. Also, flaming arrows. So I went that route and had absolutely no regrets until several years later, when Nexon changed the class again, and again, and again, and again, to the point that it was unrecognizable.
I choose rare classes. Thats why I love my marksman <3
I just chose a buccaneer, because lets try to make fighting in a video game somewhat realistic... then I found out I had a laser beam and pretended I was Goku and called it a day ~
Don't really care about popularity or funding much.
I usually choose it based on its skills, style, and how fun it is. I guess damage is a small factor in it, but I mostly decide based on their combos and style.
Xenon. I've been wanting this class ever since it came out of KMST just because of the skill graphics and the storyline.
I find Evan really fun. <3 However, I first chose to play it because in CMS, Evan's translated name literally means "Dragon Lord"... which I found to be pretty badass.
Wow I never knew that it meant "Dragon Lord".
I play for fun and sentimental value.

i chose the class hardest 2 fund as pouring in alot of hard earned mesos doesn't make u look like a mega game freak
i simply fell in love with battle mage since i saw some video of them in kms, i like the playstyle alot and im still sticking to my BaM since they came out in big bang.
I built up a lot of connections through my listed character. Old friends know exactly how to find me if we lose touch over the years. I also enjoy archers quite a lot.
I chose the class that I felt the most enjoyable.
pew pew pew
I love Angelic Buster because it's Angelic Buster.
How I chose my character was the logic of "Pink = Good"
turned out better than i expected, but all my friends still criticize me
whatever is new. i play all the new classes when they come out
What do you mean based on ign? & I put in all of what you said as important factors when I choose
