There is so much freedom in not wearing shoes~
being any ethnicity or religious fanatic has nothing to do with a clean carpet. stop friggin mentioning it around clean carpets, wth are you guys doing? trying to check if other non-arabs have clean carpets? are you starting some racist discrepancy? if you want to know about clean carpets, leave your racist junk where your shoes are.
I take them off inside the house once I'm home and no, I do not wear them when I'm in the house. And, I don't think religion should have anything to do with keeping your house tidy. It's common sense (Arab Muslim here as well).
I take my shoes off, definitely. My room is right next to the front door so if I forget something when I'm heading out, it's groovy.
I really dislike being in someone's house or apartment where either:
1. My feet get dirty from walking barefoot,
2. I can't comfortably sit or lie down on the floor, or
3. The carpet has a bunch of stains or hair in it. </3
I don't, cause it would smell, i'd bring in something that i stepped on, and i want to feel comfortable sitting on the floor.
the first thing I do when I come home is take off my shoes
then switch to slippers
idk how people could forget to take their shoes off in the houses tbh o.o
If I don't need to go anywhere I usually forget to put on my shoes, but if I do put on my shoes, I usually forget to take them off until I go to bed
I wear slippers.
i never understood why people keep their shoes on in the house o.o
like think about it if youve been like walking outside all day, would you really want all of that dirt in the house
Nope. for sanitary and hygiene reasons
No, my mom would kill me
75% of my house is carpet/rug and I'm sure as hell not cleaning that.
As an ashunn I take off shoes inside the house and leave them inside regardless of whether I'm going out soon or not.
HOWEVER, sometimes when I feel like being a rebel, I'll keep them on and hope my muddda doesn't spank me
As a white guy, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. If I'm home for a while I will. If I know I'll be leaving again soon I'll leave them on
this, If i'm about to go somewhere I keep them on. If i'm just staying home I take em off.
@SirKibbleX2 me too, or else i would "bomb you and your whole family"
/sarcasm
