I blame MapleStory being centered around classes. Too many classes ruined MapleStory. I would've been MUCH happier with more content and unique systems, and just have Cygnus Knights, Explorers, and Heros as the 3 class tiers (Hero > Explorer > CK).

I might be late or wrong, but didn't they add a option in game where you could buy nx with mesos in kms? (so doesn't that solve that mileage issue)

@iceychill2: Well I only asked because he put that under the profession revamp section =P Im also more than willing to bet that something went wrong and they pushed boss PVP back (and that boss rewards change)

I should also point out you don't need to craft something FROM the same tier to keep your rank, it can be any rank (so if you for example craft a few level 1 alchemy potions, you'll keep your level 11 alchemy)

Very solid patch, gave classes what they so DESPERATELY needed, even thieves and pirates, as lackluster as their update was, became MUCH stronger

profession revamp was... okay I guess, solved one of the major pay2win issues though!

Millage system can go die in a fire, was nothing like I expected it to be

Couldn't really care for free advancement system, I personally won't be using it but I guess its nice to have it there.

Zero is a pretty impressive class so i've no qualms with it, I'll probably make it for the link skill, have some fun with it =P

I can't understand the problem people have with the auction house, I think its a REALLY nice system (so if someone could elaborate that'd be nice =P) I don't mind the restrictions since, if it WASN'T restricted people wouldn't have a reason to buy shops (which doesn't make them greedy, so much as they can't afford to lose too much profit)

[b]Forgotten Kingdom: Kritias[/b]
Hekaton looks like a really interesting boss fight, solve the lag issues and we'll be golden

Bamon's League should be a pretty interesting concept if they work out the bugs

Add dat boss PVP and Improved boss rewards nexon, make it happen (im more than willing to bet they had problems and just decided to push these back)

Lol wow they're gonna go and tease us with PvP like that... pvp was the one thing that I was sticking around for, so if that doesn't come through I see myself quitting I'm just curious because I saw a level 130 desperado with battle attack on it, so they may have something in the pipeline..

Spadow was incorrect about something (though im not exactly sure what he was referring to when he said this, so he might've ment something different) but "the materials being a pain in the ass to collect" isn't the case with Artisan cubes (minus the fact that you need to boss for the occult cube fragments) everything else is relatively simple to get, even the blades of chaos (which drop at about a 10% chance when you harvest a herb, but are much more common from gold flowers)

This is the first time I've ever seen Spadow complain lol

People just expected too much because of the hype (which it's obvious that unlike some of the other changes, Nexon did bad by over hyping it). When you think about changes made, its still big enough to be considered big bang/ chaos/ justice; ect. status although a lot of people expected a lot more out of it because of all of the promotions and videos they made (which seemed too good to be true anyways).

Honestly, this revamps pretty much an adventurer class overhaul (although they could have made it better and introduced new systems like bursters/ kaisers/ xenons/ demon avengers have) with some content changes (now cubes are craftable although cubes that can tier to legendary are pretty tedious to craft. Also, the auction system revamps the fm and sticks it to hackers that used to hack fm spots and jack up prices because of a certain spot meaning now with the whole bid thing, people can't really overprice something if they intend on selling it otherwise it will never be bought) as well as another unnecessary broken warrior class </3 (It's like mages/ pirates/ thieves/ and bowman don't matter to them >.&lt.

I'm skeptical about the "free" cubes.

Nothing free from nexon has ever come without a consequence.

Edit : Well, I just read the blog and Spadow proved my skepticism right, I'm not surprised however.

I really did have high hopes. I was hoping RED would revive maple.

When I returned to MapleStory, I already knew that Nexon had dun goofed. But it's a business, and it was to be expected.

We can hate them for turning out like this, but most companies do so why are we surprised?

I agree that Zero is probably going to be the highlight

Ever since that Thief/Pirate revamp I'm not surprised. 1 vs 100 sounds cool though.
