@tkirsch: I don't see the correlation on how you're suppose to know 1 skill's KMS name if you know another. Ultimate Drive was most noteable IMO as it is the main attack a phantom has, also has a intriguing name and therefore the only skill I actually had my attention towards. The only other skill I could probably say would be tempest, but there really isn't much difference between the names from KMS and GMS.

How you use the combo of skills is entirely your preference, which leads back to my point saying just because you don't link the skills together doesn't mean no one uses it.

IMO you'd be better off rushing them, using rapier to charge in and finish off with spamming something like blason(3rd)/drive(4th) as it wouldn't move you like penombre does. Plus your combo has a specified environment where you are practically hugging the wall and spamming penombre the opposite side so you don't move, and that's only if the mob is in range.

jesus all these french skill names its so confusing

@justsofly: if you know Ultimate drive is KMS's name for mille aiguilles
you should know that twilight is the KMS name for penombre.
but usualy i just spam 2nd job carte skill to rush them which works great and then spam twilight when i am facing not to the wall so i can continualy spam it.

Whats twilight...? Just because you don't use rapier doesn't mean no one else does.

It's recommended not to max Blason because it gets replaced by Mille Aiuguilles (Ultimate Drive-KMS).

The way I mob is Mille Carte ~> Rapier Wit ~> Penombre, then spam drive since you can move forward with it. It's like pushing the mobs to a corner, rushing in to attack it, stepping back to deal 1 massive blow, and finish it off by spamming. It's almost like DB's FABSUS with an extra skill.

No one uses raiper, even in 4th job. I've seen hundreds of 4th job phantoms. Not one has used raiper.

@SMCstar: Brise carte is the kms name for Carte Mille.
@tkirsch: Do you see any 130+ phantoms using Blason for overall attacking? Not just situations.

@canihazclaw: blasome fantome, the one that easily 1hkos all of the monsters and can be used while jumping?

Wait, so Rapier increases carte mille's dmg? Basil's phantom skills says it adds the dmg of a skill called "Brise Carte"

twilights damage is much better if you don't use it with rapier and that mille carte skill.
and no one uses rapier, that is why your not supposed to max it in 3rd job.

it's the same as DB and Merc combo skills... you have to use them separately to be able to pull off the chain properly

Rapier is not that useful. Blason Fantome > Rapier + mille

The way i use it is to have it on 2 separate keys. The Time frame you need to activate the combo is when the card first pops up for carte mille
