Hi I just need to vent, if you don't feel like reading vents, don't read.
Okay so prior to this event a bought a lot of 20% scrolls to use on my no boom claw. I got it up to +5, and then bought tons of clean slate scroll 1%s to get it back to 4 slots, used 4 more 20%s and they all failed. Whatever, right? Then, I bought a few 20% clean slates in the fm, spent about 200m on those, all failed. Then this event came and I was getting really happy that I'd finally be able to finish my claw (clean slate 1%s are a pain to find). So first I was getting maple leaves myself but then I realized people were selling them all over the fm so I bought a lot to speed up the process. Basically, on all of my 7 characters, I bought enough leaves for 5 clean slates on each character. Out of these 35 20% clean slates, 5 of them worked. And out of those, 0 20% scrolls worked. So basically after 1.6b spent, I literally made 0 progress on my claw and now I can't buy anymore clean slate scrolls because for some reason Nexon thought it would be a good idea to restrict how many you could buy (wasting a lot of my time relogging back and forth dozens of times). So yeah, I'm mad. lol
How has the event/clean slate scrolls been going for you?

what's your diligence? I mean, it won't work for the clean slates (at least, that's what I've been told often), but it should affect the regular 20% scrolling, and boost it up to 30% if you have max.
And what, no lucky day scrolls? Those things help a LOT (for me at least).
Whats the best way to get these scrolls?
Remember that is is 20% as in 20 out of 100. So you could fail eighty times before one works.

Boxes you can get in-town. They just lie around and you click on them.
@OneRockGod: Accepted the free leaves from the leveling up event, collect 50 boxes in towns which was fast, waited for seedlings, did or tried to do the falling leaves quest every once in a while, free coin a day, etc.? o_O Most I have on ONE character is 24, I think, but I have 50 or 60 something total. Did this on a few characters while I switched between school work and Maple. I find getting coins this time around to be extremely easy

Bought 5 of those scrolls, failed all of them. And so my Empress overal remains 14 m.atk with 4 slots I need to clean slate...
You should use 40% since its a no boom claw.
I quit scrolling a katara after i failed 8 in a row. LOL
Used 2/5 on my main atm, ugh i hate the limit esp since this event we can get coins so easily compared to last event
I understand that buying leaves is the lazy way for the rich, but considering how easy it is to obtain coins and leaves this time around...
I swear, I've gotten around 50 coins now just from on and off playing throughout today and yesterday

Pretty sure this shiit is rigged. Next time I get 4 more clean slates to work on my thing with 1%s, I think I'm gonna wait for the slot protection things from CS. -_-
make a new account and get clean slates on that account
There's one time I failed 20% slate 29 times in a row, and all were bought in FM.
Too poor to do anything.
