Phantom

Inner Ability

So I wasted about 60k NX on circulators hoping that I'd get boss% but instead got +1 Attack Speed. I realize the rarity of attack speed, but my boss is kinda low even with top 1 dojo gloves (253% with hero gloves).

So should I keep or nah?

(keep in mind I'm a Phantom)

Does attack speed factor into buffing times? If so then that can be good for bossing.

ITT: People who never did the calcs talking about % comparisons as if they knew anything about them
Cross surge is multiplicative to %TD
But yeah keep the attspd. It might be useful in case there's a new revamp and your 1v1 skill of choice becomes affected by attspd

Phantoms only have 1 source which is aria and cross surge is applied differently then regular % damage since it is multiplied not added. Unless it changed since it gave exactly double damage before the patch.

Though TS I don't know either,crit rate is always good and so is att/boss Attack speed does help a ton for mobbing skills evasive skills but not really for bossing damage

@BlueSerenade 60k nx is not that much for inner. i know multiple people whove spent 200k+ on inner.

Attack speed effects start up speed and attack speed for non-keydown skills, i'd say keep if because in case Phantom gets a revamp soon that affects how attack speed works or something crazy like that. Did you get +1 attack speed in legendary inner ability or unique inner ability, because i'm trying to aim for +1 attack speed as well haha @Wheresjay

phantom has massive amounts of %td especially adding cross surge into it, so you don't need more %boss. if you want to reroll for anything, %buff duration would help out the most for endgame bossing

What's your crit rate? I could imagine on a phantom the best ia would be a high critical rate so that you wouldn't need to waste potential lines/nebs/ring slots on crit :o

Attack speed is useless on rf/ab. Going for boss would be more useful than any other stat from inner. Even if attack speed decreased the wind up time in ab I doubt it's worth any high amounts of increase in dps.

235% boss is over kill already. Once you start capping, you'll opt to replace % boss with % att anyways

Unfortunately, you're one of the few classes that don't benefit as much from +1 atk speed IA.

Most of the time, either you're using Mille+Blaster, 2x Blaster or RF.

But I'd say keep it. Inner Ability can be a [b]huge pain[/b]. Spend your funds on another area that could use improvement.

Ya, although attack speed does affect Mille (because the green MPE breaks speed cap), I don't think Mille can compare to rapid fire, so the +1 attack speed would only be beneficiary for penoumbre purposes.

And I only have 253% boss because of rank 1 dojo gloves, something that I don't get all the time because of my laziness

I read somewhere in the basil forums that that Mille Aguilles (can't spell) scales with attackspeed, so I would still keep it.

If 253% boss is low.. i must have next to nothing only having about 100% I'd give up my % boss let alone current inner's for a +1 Attack Speed, it's something people would kill for, so don't fret over boss, but rather focus on Att

You only need about 200% boss total before you should start balancing other things out, keep the attack speed for sure.

253% boss damage is not low, fool. Keep the attacking speed, farm Honor EXP for Boss damage on either of the other lines.
