Guys, this thread is now entering rule #4 domains.
As far as [i]any type of glitch[/i] is concerned, whether it's a glitched map, the platform glitch, ye olde GOPQ or glitched decent skills are concerned Nexon says this:

"While using the Service, you agree not to: Exploit errors in design, features which are not documented and/or bugs to gain access that would otherwise not be available or to obtain any competitive advantage"

That means glitching is against the ToS and encouraging people to glitch is against rule #4, no matter the magnitude of said glitch.

This argument is nice and all, but I just want an opinion if I should take my NEW S.E and cube it AGAIN and hope it stays glitched this time.

I really dont see a need to remove decent skills. It is one of those things which only benefits everyone and does not really harm the game. In fact its one of those things Nexon should regulate but still allow. I mean yes it makes parties less necessary, but come on party play was dead long before decent skills. Also them banning skills will only make endgame items that much harder to get, and then you will have chose between having 6% STR or decent HB on a line. I get what people are saying about the skills being glitched and not meant to be used that way. But to be honest, that is the best way for them to be. Instead of glitches which benefit everyone and that virtually everyone has access to, they should focus on HT being glitched and Empress being hacked. Also for those few people who say that decent skills hinder the originality of a given character, you shouldn't be looking for originality in a character which everyone can make and which you probably made using a build you saw online. No one builds pure INT Heroes, and until then no Hero build is THAT original.

My opinion about glitch abuse, which I, for the record, did not state, is irrelevant.

Any way you spin it, glitching skills is [b]not harmful[/b] to the game or its economy at this point in time. Everyone has an equal opportunity to obtain and use the skills, and they provide a source of income to those who rent them out. I see it as similar to that glitch where you were able to jump through the floors in main towns. Still a glitch, maybe not intended, but not detrimental in any way.

If you're crying about "abuse" then you really need to re-evaluate your stance on this kind of thing.

I like how everyone is supporting nexon fixing everything like the decent skills.
But the moment glitched LHC maps are fixed, everyone is going to cry about it.

Lol, i wont dissagree with the part about glitching is bad. Before i found out about this glitching decient skills thing, i never would have glitched. somehow i got caught in it o.o....once its gone, ill return back to not glitching. but as for now, it helps ppl out.

Dont worry, it happened to me one time. my se skill suddenly dissappeared. just get it again and re-glitch. you will be fine.

and for thoes that say "For those supporting the glitch, cause we cant cube your own?"

Truth is, some of us cube our own items. if we get a decient skill we dont have, we may glitch cause the other pot stats suck or arnt good enough. so we recube after and we dont wanna loose the decient skill too...

Smartest* and that is true. It most definitely probably was not intended to be this way. This is more reason why Nexon needs to focus on bug fixing than shoving content in our faces. I'm not making an argument to either side of the debate though. I have glitched skills too, although my reasoning may be different than most. For me, dhb was supposed to be available on overalls, but when we got the potential system here it was not. Since I'm a pirate and a girl one at that, you can see how this is messed up. Nebulites introduce a new way for me to get decent, but as you can see (or may not depending on where you stand in maple), they dont work with item guarded items lol. So... double fail. If they fix that I would be happy xD

holdmacannon, it's not a matter of cubing ones own skill, for mages, until we got nebulites, we had no way to get hyper body, the pants were hoarded and kept before decent skill glitching was intoruced.

Nah, I just don't want to use any of my money on something that has a possibility of being removed. That being said, I keep my Decent Skills on my equips usually via Nebulite because % on Nebs aren't as good as % on the actual equip.

I went back on my Crusader just abit go. The skill went right back when I put it back. Logged out, logged back in, and it's still there. Get it back, and you should be fine. Like I said earlier, my DS has never lost his. Luckily I made these pants, and was never able to sell them. So at least I'll always have the skill, lol.

They were still there for me today, people please, if you had the chance you'll have them, just dont hate on the ones that have ours :C

were not abusers, id just rather have 12 percent str pants then wasting it witha decent hb slot

this is gonna kill the use of decent skills cause who would rather choose a decent skill over 36% gear 0_0

Dang, so I guess I'm just unlucky? because I cubed away the S.E for 15% str and now I have to recube it back?

This happens on my Crusader. He has my HB pants in his inventory. I've hotkeyed the skill onto him a few times, and it won't stick. PvP'ed onto him of course. remove the pants in pvp. Works untill I have to relog him. My DS on the other hand, has never once needed to re-use my hb pants.

I mean yeah, what's life if you don't J-walk, loiter and act obscenely in public once in a while?

What with hate on decent skills, I mean I use to be on the same boat as them, but when I finally got my first decent skill (HB) I was pumped up on getting more . I'm sure if any of the nay sayers were offered a decent skill they would jump right on it.
And now I have all of them

OT: It's foolish to abuse a glitch and expect that it'll always be there. If you're going to cheat, then you may want to plan for the day when it catches up to you. In the case of abusing this glitch, go ahead and share the skill across all your chars, but don't go re-cubing. You may end up needing it later. Better yet, don't cheat in the first place and there won't be any side-effects to Nexon fixing the glitch!

you probably accidentally equipped a gloves with SE
it will cause the D skills to be un-glitched when you take it off
you will just have to glitched it at pvp again

Sorry I can't feel bad for anyone loosing a glitched skill.

I still have mine. I don't think they are going to patch that but they will patch the method of getting decent skills in pvp.

If this is true, which I highly doubt, then this is going to suck I just finished getting all my decent skill yesterday , can't confirm this or not since I won't be back until Sunday >.<

hmm... *goes to check characters* this could be bad... but I had a similar issue the other day with CO, was fine after I reglitched... but they might actually be fixing skills
