Money cant buy happiness
I totally think it could.
Just don't be stupid, overly greedy, or an ass about your wealth and you'll be fine.
Fame and fortune are what screw up people's lives, all the attention and public scrutiny can really break somebody or pressure them into stupid things. That and a weak-willed person in general.

All the rich people I know disagree.
Money can provide stability and luxuries which in term can cause happiness. But if you have piles of money and you don't do anything with it, then you might as well have piles of mud.
People who say money cant buy happiness are idiots, give a 5 year old 1 million dollars and he will blow it all on candy and be happy, sure he might die cus of all that sugar, but in the here and now, that 5 year old was happy
When people say "money can't buy happiness" they aren't suggesting that money in excess leads to the downfall of a person's happiness via the means you've mentioned. Rather, they are suggesting that there are certain preconditions for happiness, and that money is not sufficient for bringing about all of those preconditions.
It can to a certain extent
Yeah, happiness can be bought--but it's not that happiness was meant to be bought. It's because people who have power are trying to put a price on what makes us happy.
Money can buy things that produce happiness.
Even the mere possession of money makes some ppl happy.
>money can't buy happiness
>totally think it could
