Spartans are overrated
300 wasn't even 300, there was like 1000 other men, some whom are Athenians, and in the end the Spartans all died anyways. Secondly they never fought in speedos as suggested by the ignorant film 300, cuz Greek Hoplites were Men of Bronze, so they likely had bronze armor, and perhaps even linothorax. The true warriors were the Makedonians. Leonidas ain't got jack on Alexander.

The point was the 300 Spartans fought by themselves, if you saw the first one, there was no other others with them. The second movie had like nothing to do with the 300
Well yeah we know that now, but knowing it was 300 really rallied the troops
What the 300 did was valiant, but it, in no way, influenced the Persian Army's retreat. The credit goes to the Athenian fleet which destroyed the Persian Fleet during the Battle of Salamis.
And a badass mofo too. He personally leads his companion calvary for devastating charges. Tell me how many warrior kings have you heard off who does that?
Yeah he'd save his cavalry for just the right time then emerge from the sides or the back and wreck his enemies. He would have conquered India and the rest of the world if he had lived longer.
Alexander was a G. The Siege of Tyre is probably one of the most amazing and badass things ever.
Alexander was definitely the greatest war strategist of all time.
