Sydney meet up Dec 2013
Hey Basilers~
So LessThan3 of Bera are thinking of hosting an official [b]Sydney[/b] meetup on the [b]9th (Sat) of December[/b]. We're just looking for an expression of interest at the moment, and if the numbers are high enough I'll probably message all of you or create a new thread by next weekend. Because of the new forum system, we can't keep this thread on the frontpage, so I don't know how well it'll go - word of mouth would be great if you could spread it to your in game friends.
But the rough idea is probably going to be a picnic at Centennial Park (nearby UNSW) and we'll probably bring a box of cans and potentially do a barbeque, or everyone can just bring in something like chips or muffins.
If you're concerned that it'll just be a bunch of 12 year olds, never fear - we're around 18-23. We'll probably end up playing silly games and eat a lot of really unhealthy food.
If the general response is more of an "eh, seems interesting but ceebs", we're still going to get together, but privately, so your loss
And if you can think of anything better, but still relatively inexpensive, feel free to suggest away

Welp this seems to be going nowhere, we've decided just to keep it to our immediate friends. Sorry if you were genuinely interested but this is too much of a hassle to organise

@metaghost4: Haha well my guild's had a large number of meet ups, to the point where now we're all great friends in real life. We're actually renting a house together this summer, which is why we felt the need to open it up to the entirety of basil/GMS. I'm honestly trying to appeal to people who've responded but it's not going very well. It seems more plausible to call it off entirely

Taking a flight to Australia is a bit much effort, otherwise I'd be there :<.
