Must suck, considering the earthquake last year.

Plus it's on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor.
Japan imports foreign asian prostitutes who thought they would get good paying jobs. Japan discriminates minorities, they have crappy lives. 600,000+ Koreans and 655,000+ Chinese born there from their cheap labor ancestors have poor living conditions as permanent low-cost labor. Japan was only better when the US turned it from a Battle Nation to an Anime Nation. They are still aiming to get more cheap Chinese labor due to dwindling population. They are an economic parasite, like all other developed countries. They are successful for the damage they have caused to other nations, as one of the reasons they are so sugoi.
You forgot they hate forgeigners from any country.

out of 3 pages thus far, only 3 of the users somewhat sympathizes with the earthquake victims, while the rest simply think it's a payback from pearl harbor
but uhh, youve been talkin about the US bombing japan...and thats all youve been ranting about.
You should read the thread before you call me anti-American, then. Get the full discussion before you base an opinion off of just a fragment.
omg wat

i hope you are not under the impression that i'm a crazy lunatic who thinks natural disasters are karma. who do you think i am, a korean netizen? wartime is over. japan doesn't deserve to be further punished. besides, if karma did exist, why is germany like totally prospering right now.
The original post you quoted of mine in this thread was a comment toward a guy who called karma against Japan for Pearl Harbor. You quoted me saying I think they should be victimized for it, which I didn't say at all.
all i can say is that while the retaliation to the bombing of pearl harbor was not equally significant, it was a necessary step. if other measures were taken, you can be sure that just as many people would have died. from both sides.
besides, the US did spend years and billions of dollars on rebuilding japan after the war.
Does that mean they deserved that much killing? Does that mean they deserve every earthquake/tsunami in the name of those who died at Pearl Harbor?

No, it does not.
Well... all i can say is that japan never should of shoved the us to do it..
No one believes it's right for anyone to attack anyone. That's not even the discussion here. The issue is that it's not right for people to say that every god dam earthquake/tsunami that Japan gets is "karma for Pearl Harbor," when we already got payback one-hundred fold against them. Their nationality is still dwindling as we speak. They are a dying nation - quite literally.

The fact is, they're now our ally - one of our biggest allies. Having this hatred against them is pretty pathetic. I don't understand that mentality at all.
so let me get this straight, you think the US bombing japan was so wrong and if you had the choice, you would just let the japanese go around bombing whoever they want and pillaging wherever they want without consequence. as you said, the bombs had a significant impact on japan, which is precisely why they were used. i don't know many people who think it's wrong and i, personally, think it was justified.
What the flying f----..... You're only twisting my words around.

It's a huge ethical debate over the use of atomic bombs on Japan. Yes, it was horrible for them to attack us. Yes, we were in the right to retaliate. No, it's not right to say they deserve what they got. They were stubborn and we had to go to dramatic lengths to get them to surrender, yes, but at the time, the US government didn't know the full extent of what they did.

Go look up the numbers. The exact numbers for each side is 2,403 vs. an estimated 246,000+. If you think murdering 246,000 people in return for 2,403 is what they deserved, you have one screwed up sense of what's right and what's wrong. Killing another in itself is absolutely horrible.
it's just that the way you worded your response made it sound like americans should for some reason feel bad for the bombings when they shouldn't.
Except they do. A lot of people feel it's wrong for what we did to the Japanese. If it weren't for the impact it did to Japan, I'm sure the use of such weaponry would be more widely used today. Instead, it's just a tool of threat. Sure, it has been used other times in history, but the impact it causes - the imprint it leaves on the world - is something the US government does not want to resort to again (even though, like I said, we use them as a tool of threat).
i know you love japan and everything so no offense, but japan doesn't deserve to be victimized for the bombings of hiroshima and nagasaki. perhaps if the bombings occured under different circumstances it would be a bad thing, but it didn't so it isn't.
I not once claimed they should be victimized. To say that a natural disaster is payback for what they did to the US is blasphemy, when we got payback ten-fold.
Yeah, look up Nanking Massacre.
Absolutely.... deplorable. Disgusting.
Right and I suppose the hundreds of thousands/millions the US military kills means nothing. Because apparently the US always does what's good for the world. It's not like they kill civilians every now and then. I don't care whether Nanking is disgusting or not because all acts of wars and all kinds of fighting are ugly.

I also suppose you believe that it's everyones fault in Japan for what happened in that massacre. People change, times change. Look at Germany now for example.
im more worried about people at hawaii. now they get their justice
Yeah... Let's just completely throw out the idea that we, the United States of America, blew the living hell out of two of their major cities, killing millions of innocent people, causing radiation poisoning, resulting in cancer through generations and severe mutations, and how much people still suffer today from all of that.

Yeah, our memory of our people being killed is significantly worse than what we did to them almost 70 years ago, yet still having an effect on the nation today.
