Cannoneer

How hard to fund?

Made a new account in the summer, and I'm trying to find a job to make my main. I only got 1bill to fund with, and was wondering how hard it is to fund a Cannoneer. They look like a super fun class to play, I am already working on a shade I was thinking of maining(they look cool) but I hear they arent very fun. So yeah, how hard is it to fund a cannoneer and get some good damage out of it, and how fun are they?

Oh the pain of trying to hit cap with cannoneer...Even though I quit mine when shade came out, I'd have to say it is easier to fund a shade than a cannoneer when it comes to bossing capabilities. Shade has more skills that work well with bosses such as bind and soul-split, while cannoneer has more placement skills, which is very useful when doing gollux. As for mobbing, definitely 100% cannoneer with bazooka. From what I remember, I believe I did about 25m per line (with buckshot) with a range of ~2m on my cannoneer (this is with 100% critical chance on my cannoneer). On my shade, with ~2m range I'm able to hit closer to caps (40-50m) with crits, but the crit chance is closer to about 50%. [Note: The damage is being done on bosses in dojo, so boss%/PDR/elemental resistance/etc are all being calculated into the damage to give a view on what potential damage you could be doing.]

Price range for the amount of damage? Too much. Best suggestion I can give you is find good/strong guilds or friends and have them help you go on CRA runs/Gollux runs and you can get reinforced/CRA equips that way. Maybe if you're lucky, you may even get superior equips/gollux coins and you may be able to buy superior equips from the store. Save up for tyrant equips and try to see if you can enough to buy a perfected weapon since I don't think there's going to be good scroll shop coming out soon. You can also try your luck with spell traces and make a temporary weapon with those to increase your range for the time being.

Hope that helps!

Cannoneers are probably one of the more difficult classes to fund, since you'll need an insane range to hit caps on all hits with your lv 150 hyper skill on.
But, I feel like Cannoneers do not even need to hit cap since they have so many lines of hits anyways.

Try merching first, 1b is nothing in todays economy
would it be too close to impossible to even bother trying to get the ability without the nx items?
It's possible, but it's a loooot easier to just get circulators. That being said, if you only have 1b to fund it, you don't need the +1 attack speed inner ability right now, you can slowly work toward it. Really with 1b you're looking at a clean cRA set, Reinforced Gollux pendant, and some cheap %str gear as placeholder in your cape/shoe/belts/glove slots. You're gonna want to merch with the rest, or if you don't want to merch, at least save it for later. Once you make more money you want to get reinforced gollux earrings/ring, as well as superior+solid gollux ring, tyrant cape/belt/shoes, and some %str sweetvater equips for face/eye.

Cannoneers are pretty fun, 3 jumps.
i only quit mine because i got hacked and also getting +1attack speed on inner ability is ESSENTIAL.
i spent about 600k nx total and havent seen it i h8 nexon.
regarding dmg, they arent the HARDEST to fund but you will need about 5mill range to cap on CVell
