Jobs for the mentally slow?

physically I have no issues. But my mind doesn't move as fast as my body...
So I struggle in fast food with multiple things at once. Could anyone suggest me some entry level jobs I can do while I wait for enlistment into the army?

Do manual labour at a factory. If you are young and healthy you will have an easy time getting in and you get to stay fit before you go to the army too. I worked at a factory one time during the summer and it wasn't so bad except doing the same repetitive motion can be physically draining and painful too sometimes. The pay isn't bad depending on what you can do (usually heavier equipment = more money) plus you get benefits and stuff.

You can probably work for the marketing department for any rental house. It sounds really fancy but it's really just answering brief phone calls and filling in Excel spreads. That sector of media retailing is probably the most chill jobs out there.

I'm sure you could handle retail depending on the store. I worked it throughout high school and my job at a hardware store was mostly physical or one-on-one with customers. Nothing overwhelming.

Security guard. It's easy to be licensed, a 5 day training course and a 60 multiply choice question written test. That's it.

Stores, apartments, anywhere really are always looking to hire security guards and the guards on the job really do nothing most of the time. Security guards are just really there to simply "deter" crime and for insurance reasons.

Maybe work at an assembly line. Some of it isn't necessarily fast.
Eh nevermind you probably need to be efficient.

Well, we have a literal retard who has the same job as me, and she's slower than the rest of us by a lot but they aren't gonna fire her.

Go to Google and type in "(your city) workforce". Depending on your city/county, you should be able to find either a job listing board, or links to a job listing board. After that, depending on how desperate you are for a job, you can apply away to everything you think might suit you, or setup a list first.
Don't be afraid to give them a call or show up in person if they have certain requirements you think could be overlooked.
