Mage

Bam vs Evan

Hello guys, i've got an evan and a battle mage, currently my battle mage is my main; it hits around 1.2m per line with the lvl 170 hyper on bosses (those that don't cut damage to half) and got interested on maining my evan again, but my question is that if i transferred my gear onto my evan, the damage would be more or less the same? If not how much would i have to spend on trying to increase it?
@ashje Bam's hit half damage on a lot of bosses because of the lack of elemental reset. Guys, would my damage be more or less the same with the exact same equips on evan? For what i know, the next update will be a big one for BaM's but i still find them pretty repetitive and boring; despite them being able to hit big numbers with lots of lines @elpanaj8 pretty sure illusion is 1.5151 hits per sec
BaM unlike any other magician rely on the speed of the staff so if u have a fast speed staff on post-fly any staff even a fafnir u will be dealing more dmg per sec than a evan... no matter how faster the many illusion u can cast with evan BaM outdmg evan after 170+ now before that... we have a different history... if u fine BaMs repetitive and boring then why u made the thread asking for both classes if u alredy have the answer with u.. (sorry to sound rude but at late lvls fun>dmg)
@ashje: BaMs still get their damage cut in half. Evan hits very fast, they can cast more than two illusions a second. On a regular monster, BaM will be stronger. But on most bosses, Evan will win.
i need more proof to this than ur bare words
Both are getting buffed in the future, but I would say Evan. The only reason is because they have elemental reset but BaMs don't.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought BaMs hit neutral anyway? What's so bad about BaMs not having Ele Reset? Also, Evans hit less lines so wouldn't BaM be better in DPS?

if u want dmg and ure alredy hitting 1.2m per line stick to ur BaM we attack faster than evan once lvl 170+ and evan do hit highe but as above said less lines and so ur DPS is low

I mean, play whichever one is more enjoyable. Imo, yes biased, BaM is better/more fun.

Evans are for Dragon lovers.
Since you have to ask, you don't deserve to make an Evan.
jk.
But evans in my opinion are really fun
