I didn't make my F/P because of anyone, but I continued it with the inspiration of Aimm, who doesn't play anymore, but he stood up to the I/Ls back in the day.

No one ever inspired me to make any of my characters.
I don't generally need inspiration in order to act, and in the case of my first three characters, there were no players existing at the time who were capable of inspiring others in the first place.

Originally, my friends encourages me to take up being a cleric. I played that until about level.64 then went onto other classes (particularly the pirate class since it had only been released and everyone wanted to play one - which was fair.)

Hm, uh... the people who told me the Bandit class was beyond bad and that I should stay away from it. Seriously, everybody played a Mage or a Sin. -_- So I made a Bandit and turned out to really like the class.
