Has anyone ever ran up into someone in their server
Who acquired a similar name? I understand that naming yourself after a favorite character, you would probably end up seeing another, but man its like you stay on maple long enough and you find people who just rips your name from you. Just today i saw a guy named " rnods." Yeah, you can say its not the same but that set up tho.. using "r" and "n" to make an illusion of a m. Dude has like 1 letter different from me. That doesn't get to me as much as seeing another character walking around with the name "JVleds." It's like c'mon now bro.... It wouldn't bothered me as much if he wasn't acting like such a THOT.
So I have this pet peeve where I make a new character and dress it up as an cartoon character and one of these character happend to be Finn from Adventuretime, as you can see from my basil ID. So I go and name him FinnHD, my number one mistake was to not hoard jakeHD at the time, i forgot that you can hoard IGNs in other worlds. SO yeah i made my Hero, got to be known as the guy from adventuretime for a good month, Got free fame for creativity points daily, and So I decided I should make Jake. Well this is where i tie back up into the main point.. Surprise, surprise, someone picked up the name.. not just anyone, someone from my world.
I swear stuff like this happens way too often, I thought it would be interesting to tell you about this annoying predicament that I seem to run into maple a lot. Just wondering if anyone had similar stories that they would love to share.

@minari: nah sorry i'm not a Kevin. You said you never had the same name as somebody else in your class, so you wouldn't know the feels. And Notice how I never tried to name you, The fact you had the audacity to just name me, shows how much you care. Those are some aggresive vibes, minari.
That goes to say whats not important to you doesn't mean anyone else doesn't care.

in MMOs, IGN makes a stand for your character, it's uniqueness represents who you are. In life we got names, and i pretty sure you met many other people who shared your same name and you didnt care less, until you guys have the same class and your teacher calls on your name and you answer back in such enthusiasm only to realize that she/he was calling on the other person. Salt face and then the classroom laughs

My Troxine apparently there is a different guy with the IGN troxied, and everyone thinks I'm him because of the similar IGNs. >.<

People have been using other characters/letters to make illusions of certain letters for a while. Like an example would be I have a mule named TheVVeeknd. But you are right his ign is very similar to yours.
