What do you mean by limbo?
If it's a crossroads of life kinda thing, I find that an abstract option is usually calming
If it's people problems, confrontation gets closure

When that happens, I find their top and stop it from spinning.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "stuck in limbo" but I'm assuming you're in a place where you don't know whether to confront someone or not?

If that's the case, I was stuck with a female friend after she confessed she used to like me. She said she wanted "time", so I just kind of waited...for a long time. I then heard from her friend that she hated me even more because apparently I waited too long... She said "good friends" would check up on her to see how she's doing. But being a dumb guy, I thought she would talk to me after the time she needed. Confusing.

Your situation is probably nothing like that, but I would recommend you to give said person some time, then check up on them. But of course, don't know your situation, so I can't say for sure. Sometimes it's best to interfere with their thinking, especially if there could be a misunderstanding.

Usually you're the one offering advice to everyone, so I'm assuming this is a little serious for you?

I don't know the specific situation you're in, but I've had my own situations I've dealt with that seem similar to being in limbo. I'm all ears too if you'd like to share.
